Jeremiah 35:7 says Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land where ye be strangers.

Jonadab the patriarch of the Rechabites had made a covenant to the effect that his offsprings shall not own houses but will live in tents (temporary shelters). It is only a tenant that has no permanent home address. Tenants live at the discretion of landlords; for the landlord can give a tenant quit notice as well as increase rent.

The above scenario has far reaching consequences. It means all the days of a person, he keeps on paying rent. After being married, born children and gets grandchildren, the individual remains a tenant.

Whatever that has kept you as a tenant, I break such ancestral covenant. In this year, I see you becoming a landlord in Jesus name.

Jeremiah 18:17 says I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will shew them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.

May God have mercy on us as his heritage as the country battles with the increasing cost of foodstuff in the market and the spate of insecurity spreading everywhere.

Jeremiah 15: 6 Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.

7. And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways.

8. Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.

The above scriptures is instructive. The Lord God Almighty is fuming and vexing with humanity. Let us listen and give attention to what the Lord is saying:

In verse 6 above, it is an act of cowardice to depart from the faith into idolatry. This is betrayal. Revelation 21: says that the cowardly and unbelieving shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Now, let us the punishment to betrayers: in verse 7, the Lord says He will fan meaning to stir up the deaths of children. We have witnessed unprecedented number of young children dying and we are not bothered. It is not normal for parents to cast their young.

Verse 8 talks about increasing number of widows. Just take a look around your environment, you will notice young women as widows. The verse also talks about parents suddenly mourning deaths of their children. In addition, terrorism is becoming a daily occurrence from villages, towns, cities and nations. Terrorism is gradually becoming a monster in our society and peace is becoming elusive.

In the light of the above, to be free from pains and sorrow of life, reconcile with God today and it shall be well with you in Jesus name.

Jeremiah 12:12 says The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

In the text above, there are two words worth understanding: Spoilers and Wilderness. According to Merriam Online dictionary, a spoiler is someone who having little or no chance of winning but capable of depriving a rival of success; while wilderness is an area essentially undisturbed by human activity together with its naturally developed life community.

Judges 2:14 says: And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

Bandits and kidnappers are spoilers. These bandits have abandoned their homes and taken up residency in the forests as their operational bases. The modus operandi of these cowards is to abduct victims to their coven while ransom is being negotiated before release of innocent people.

The dastardly operations of these vile people in some cases had led to lost of precious lives. These days, you are not of sure travelling safely to your destination. You can no longer sleep with your eyes closed throughout the night. There is general apathy as peace is becoming elusive.

However, do not be troubled because Philippians 4:7 says: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. In addition, Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

The devices of evil workers to ambush your glory shall fail. The Lord will not permit any situation to trouble you. You will enjoy the peace of your maker all the days of your life in Jesus name.

Genesis 16:3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

The above scriptures presents to us an understanding of the role and influence of female maids/house helps in your home:
1. Female house helps are easy companions and prey to married men. It is an error for madam to travel and leave her husband with a maid at home.
2. Maids understands the weaknesses of madams. Some of them take advantage of this and snatches madam's husband.
3. They understand obedience and submission. This virtue attracts men into becoming a puppet.
4. Maids observes, counsels as well as share experiences of others who came out of their predicaments. 2 Kings 5:3 And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
5. They understand cleanliness, tidying of all areas of the house and its smelling good.
6. Every maid wants to be hooked up with a man with a glorious destiny.

There is a pandemic coming worse than Corona Virus. Once, you are infected, you are doomed forever. Here are tips to keep safe from contracting this plaque:
1. Regenerate your heart with the word of God.
2.Keep a social distance from evil.
3. Avoid the crowd of wickedness and wicked men.
4. Cover your mind from being infected from the sneeze of sin and hatred.
5. Do not shake hands with abomination.
6. Do not hug heresy and false teachings.
7. Be safe so that you will be saved.
8. Sanitize your life with the Word of God.
9. In case you notice any symptoms of sin, call the helpline of Christ in PRAYER.
10. Always remember to boost your spiritual immunity with Faith and the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

I heard some countries had been locked down; some are contemplating doing same. Our own role is to be on the side of caution - watch and pray. It pays to obey than sacrifices.

The remedy to this plaque called Corona virus: governments and rulers in their territories globally must renounce homosexuality, occult practices. Particularly, in Nigeria, the spate of killing christians, kidnappings and abductions must stop. Otherwise, we are yet to see anything. This plaque (Corona virus) is no respecter of persons even in countries with medical expertise. Corona virus has caught medical science napping. It is ravaging lives, tourism, transportation and global economy is display of the wrath of God; a direct consequences of our folly and total collapse of our moral fiber in the society.

2 Chronicles 7:14 summarises what should be done. Repentance from our sins and pleading for mercy.

To stay safe, frequently wash your hands with soap as well as with sanitisers. Listen to instructions from health authorities.

God will show us mercy in Jesus name.
