MISSION POSSIBLE 2020 UPDATES
Greetings and grace to you sirs!
To the glory of God, despite the global pandemic, we shall be commencing the online version of the 2020 Mission Week from Monday 3rd-8th August. Please note the following information about it:
1. Theme: DESPERATE TIMES - 1Chro. 11:32
2. Please encourage your church members to use the provided link to register online. This will make it easy for the zoom link to be sent directly to them and to helps us know the nature of the participation statistically.
3. If anyone is unable to do so, it will not in anyway hinder the person from joining any viewing station to follow the live broadcast sessions.
4. Please let individual churches provide viewing opportunities. All it requires is a media device, like a laptop or phone and a WiFi source. For a larger congregation, the laptop screen could be projected to a larger screen, with Public Address to amplify the sound. If individual church stations, or parish heads take the challenge to make their churches viewing Centers, it will get us closer to achieving higher readiness status for online congregational participations, which will likely be the trend onwards.
5. The zoom link will be sent by tomorrow Sunday 2nd August) by the grace of God. The platform will be open from 4:15pm daily, but each day, the events shall start by 4:30pm daily. The line-up shall be as follows:
4:30-4:35pm: Opening Prayer
4:35-4-40pm: Opening Hymn
4:40-5:00pm: Mission Updates
5:00-5:25pm: Talk One
5:25-5:30pm: Hymn
5:30-5:45pm: Main Charge
5:45-5:50pm: Prayers
5:50-5:55pm: Notices and Benediction
5:55-6:00pm: Closing Hymn
6. The above will be the pattern for meeting from Monday to Thursday. However please note that by Friday 8th August, all mission team members of parishes and archdeaconries shall be meeting physically with the Archbishop at St.Pirans Church by 5pm.
Please pray that the Lord grants us a reviving visitation despite the non physical nature of the meetings. Jesus
