Choji picked up some gifts in Kenya. Someone made home a friendship bracelet, a little girl gifted him a blanket to stay warm on the plane and the hospital gave him a helmet to protect his head. He is missing a piece of his skull so this will help protect his head.

We take off the helmet when he sleeps but since he does not like the helmet, he has learned to pretend he is asleep so that we take it off. However, he hasn’t learned to not giggle when he realizes he successfully fooled us! 🙂

I am back in Kenya and we are heading home to Nigeria. Choji has been discharged and we are starting the long journey back to Nigeria. Pray for us as we travel.
A doctor here told me the thing they will remember most about Choji’s stay is how loving and caring our caregivers are! I am so grateful for the team God has put around Choji!

Jocelyn has made it to Kenya and is with Choji! She has arrived with all the gifts from the amazon wishlist! Choji is healing well and I will be heading to Kenya on Thursday to bring him back to Nigeria!

Choji’s bandages were changed today and the doctors are happy with his progress.
