Dear Beloved,

You are invited to join the Global Intercession for Mission by Foundation for Student Mission - SMC .

DAY 6 – Tuesday 19 May 2026.

MISSIONARIES AND MISSION
Missionaries are called faithful sowers, scattering the imperishable seed of God's Word day by day into the hearts of people; the soil of this wide world. From bustling cities to forgotten villages, they press on through wars, sickness, and opposition, eyes fixed on the Lord for breakthrough and souls. The harvest fields are white, yet labourers are few. Churches, agencies, and partners hold up the sowing with prayer, giving, and sending. Even now in 2026, with inflation biting, donors weary, and crises pulling everywhere, God still supplies seed to the sower and bread for eating. Like sowers in every kind of ground, they keep going, but the cry rises: "Arise, harvesters!"

1. Pray that God will strengthen Christian missionaries all over the world, to sow boldly in season and out of season, undeterred by persecution, exhaustion, or the silence of war-torn places. (2 Timothy 4:2; Ecclesiastes 11:6)

2. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will break up the fallow ground, soften the hard places, and grant His missionaries outstanding breakthroughs in their labour. (Matthew 13:18-23; Ezekiel 11:19).

3. Pray for mission agencies and their partners that the Lord God will refresh them with faith as they labour in His harvest. Pray that the Lord God will supply all needed for their operations. (2 Corinthians 9:10; 1 Corinthians 3:6-8)

4. Pray for every mission agency all over the world that their efforts will yield much fruit, bringing them deep joy and full reward. Pray that the Lord God wake the tired, calls the hesitant and fires up the willing. (1 Corinthians 3:6-8; John 4:36)
