EYFI DRAMA & SONG COMPETITION 2027 — DYCs, GET READY!

The 2027 ECWA Theme of the Year has been released:

“PRESS ON TOWARDS THE GOAL”

Philippians 3:14

In line with this powerful theme, the ECWA Youth Fellowship International (EYFI) is preparing for an exciting Drama and Song Competition.

TO ALL DISTRICT YOUTH COUNCILS (DYCs): IT IS TIME TO GET READY!

This is not the time to wait. Begin to pray, plan, mobilise and prepare your youths.

Identify and develop your drama talents.

Mobilise your singers and musical talents.

Keep the competition before God in prayer.

Begin your creative and spiritual preparation.

Prepare your DYC to PRESS ON TOWARDS THE GOAL!

The Terms of Reference and full competition guidelines will be communicated soon.

ECWA UNVEILS 2027 THEME: “PRESS ON TOWARDS THE GOAL”

(Philippians 3:14)

JOS, NIGERIA – The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has officially unveiled its 2027 theme, “Press On Towards the Goal,” drawing inspiration from the Apostle Paul’s exhortation in Philippians 3:14. The unveiling was made during the annual Chairman and Secretaries Consultation, held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

The theme was formally presented by the ECWA President, Rev. Dr. Ayuba Job Bagat, who charged the denomination to adopt the scriptural mandate as the spiritual compass for the upcoming year. The selection of the theme underscores a collective call for resilience, focus, and unwavering dedication to the divine mission entrusted to the Church.

As the denomination prepares for a new cycle of ministry, the 2027 theme is designed to galvanize members, leadership, congregations, and departments across the ECWA fold. It serves as a rallying point for the Church to remain steadfast in faith, surmount challenges, and resolutely pursue the heavenly calling and Kingdom objectives set before it.

The unveiling marks the commencement of strategic preparations for 2027, emphasizing core values of perseverance, spiritual maturity, ecclesial unity, and an aggressive advancement of the Great Commission.
