*SUNDAY 18TH JANUARY, 2026*

*TEXT: ROMANS 12:1-3*

1. _Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship._
2. _Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will._
3. _For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you._

*TOPIC: GRACE TRANSFORMS*

The motivation for living a transformed life is rooted in the mercy and grace that God has shown to humanity through Jesus Christ. Paul describes the act of offering oneself as "true and proper worship." This challenges the notion that worship is confined to specific rituals or gatherings. Worship is a lifestyle of obedience and service to God, reflecting the transformative impact of grace on a believer's life. God is calling you today to engage in practices that foster spiritual growth, such as prayer, studying Scripture, and community fellowship, which help renew the mind and align it with God's purposes. Are you living a transformed life? If not, make it a duty today to yield your life to God to be transformed to fulfill His purpose.

*REFLECTION:* _Have you been transformed?_

*PRAYER:* _Father, I need your transformation. Amen._

*Today's Bible Reading Plan:_Exodus 1-2*

Church Service ( Sunday 11- Jan - 2026 )
Topic:Reset for impact
Text :: 2 Corinthians 5 : 17 .
17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18: And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19: To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 : For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Text :Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV‬
18. Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
19. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

*TEXT: TITUS 2:11-14*

11. _For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people._
12. _It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,_
13. _while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,_
14. _who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good._

*TOPIC: GRACE TO SHUN UNGODLINESS*

Salvation has been offered to all people, irrespective of their backgrounds. This saving grace teaches its recipients to say no to sin and yes to godliness. Those who receive saving grace also receive training grace, which spurs them to reject sin and live a godly life - a change in behaviour and mindset that reflect their faith. As a changed person, you must live a godly life in anticipation of Christ's return. Some believers are still living in ungodly ways, pursuing the things of the flesh and their pleasures. They are complacent in their sins because they take grace for granted (Rom. 6:1-2). They have refused to give room for training grace that will enable them to say no to sin. Do not be one of them! Surrender your life completely to Christ and gain victory over sin.

*REFLECTION:* _Pursue godliness._

*PRAYER:* _Father, help me to pursue godliness. Amen._

*TEXT: EPHESIANS 2:14-18*

14. _For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,_
15. _by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,_
16. _and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility._
17. _He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near._
18 _For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit._

*TOPIC: THE BARRIER IS DESTROYED*

A barrier is an obstruction or something that blocks access and keeps one separated from another. The dividing wall of hostility has been destroyed and the differences that had constantly brought war between us are put to death. This became possible because Christ came and preached peace which broke the barrier that hindered Jews from seeing the Gentiles as brothers. Today, barriers of race, tribe, social status, gender, education and giftings, and so on have erected walls of divide among believes. This is evident in the way some believes relate in terms of election, visitation, invitation and the likes. Are you guilty of promoting any of these? Repent, for you are re-erecting what Christ has destroyed. Live and enjoy fellowship with the brethren irrespective of background.

*REFLECTION:* _All barriers are broken._

*PRAYER:* _Lord Jesus, thank you for breaking the barriers of hostility. Amen._

*THURSDAY 17TH NOVEMBER, 2022*

*TEXT: MATTHEW 9:35-38*

35. _Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness._
36. _When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd._
37. _Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few._
38. _Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”_

*TOPIC: THE NEED FOR MORE WORKERS*

Yesterday, we learned that Jesus recruited some men to work with him. By this time he had trained the Twelve as a vital part of his mission. While in an itinerary ministry, saving souls and healing the sick, Jesus was astonished to see the people being harassed and helpless; like sheep without a shepherd. With the presence of the Scribes, Pharisees and Priests in Israel, they could not help the situation. Ezekiel had warned leaders of Israel of their nonchalant attitude (Ezekiel 34:1-6). Jesus noted that the souls who are ready to receive the gospel are numerous, but the labourers are few. The kingdom is in dire need for more committed labourers and not those who are slaves to pleasure and sin. Child of God, the day is short, the work is great and the reward is abundant, get involved!

*REFLECTION:* _God is looking for faithful coworkers._

*PRAYER:* _Lord Jesus, I avail myself for your service. Amen._

*Today's Bible Reading Plan:* _Romans 11-13_
