What Naomi's Story Taught Me About Life

Naomi's story in the book of Ruth is one of the most honest portrayals of life's highs and lows.

She left home with a husband and two sons, hoping for a better future. Instead, she experienced famine, widowhood, and the loss of both her sons. The woman who left full returned empty.

Yet, her story didn't end there.

Here are a few lessons from Naomi's life:

• God can restore what seems impossible. The same Naomi who believed she had nothing eventually held her grandson, Obed, in her arms a child who became part of the lineage of Jesus Christ.

• Your influence outlives your pain. Naomi's guidance helped Ruth make decisions that changed generations. Even while hurting, she remained a source of wisdom.

• God's silence is not His absence. Although Naomi couldn't see it, every painful event was positioning her for redemption.

Naomi's life reminds me that setbacks are not the end of the story. Sometimes, what feels like an ending is simply God preparing the next chapter.

Whatever season you're in today, don't close the book before God finishes writing.

FORGIVENESS
Holding a grudge is like taking poison and expecting the other person to get sick.

We sometimes keep grudge with people and they don't even know the extend to which we are angry.

It's better to speak up and let the person know what he or she did rather than keeping a grudge

Forgiveness can be tough sometimes,but it's better to forgive than keep a grudge

As human beings; the tendency to annoy someone is very high,we come from different backgrounds with different characters and trainings. We sometimes do what we think is a norm to other people because that's what we learnt growing up and expect them not to feel some type of way because it's a norm to you.

When you forgive,your heavenly Father in heaven will also forgive you.

Learn to even forgive in advance.....

It's possible to forgive and still remember,forgiveness is complete when you see the person that hurt you and you are not angry anymore.

Matthew 6:14-15

The greatest obstacle to growth is not failure, it is refusing to examine yourself.

We often blame our circumstances, our environment, or even the people around us when life doesn't go as planned. Yet many of the things holding us back are habits we have become too comfortable to question.

A habit repeated long enough begins to feel normal, even when it is quietly limiting our potential.

Growth begins the moment we stop asking, "Who is holding me back?" and start asking, "What in me needs to change?"

Success is not built on talent alone. It is built on the daily discipline of correcting what weakens you and strengthening what makes you better.

Growth belongs not to the most gifted, but to the one most willing to change.

Your future is shaped less by the opportunities you receive and more by the habits you choose to keep.

DON'T JUST READ ABOUT HIM.
EXPERIENCE HIM!

HE'S NOT HISTORY.
HE'S ALIVE RIGHT NOW.
Deut 11:2
says it plain:

“I am not speaking to your children, who have never had this experience, who have never seen the LORD's greatness, his power, and his might.”

God is not calling you to be a reader of stories.
He’s calling you to be a WITNESS of His power!

Reading about God is good.
But WALKING with God? That’s where everything changes.

His Word isn’t dead ink on a page.
It’s LIVING. ACTIVE. SHARPER than any sword!
It cuts through limits. It breaks chains. It refines you. It transforms you!

Secondhand faith won’t carry you.
You need your OWN encounter. Your OWN testimony. Your OWN “I’ve seen the Lord” moment!

So I’ll ask you:

Do you KNOW God... or do you just know ABOUT Him?

We carry guilt. We replay mistakes. We let shame speak the loudest.

But God says: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1

Jesus’ death and resurrection didn’t just save us, it redefined us.
You are not your failures. You are His grace.

The Holy Spirit convicts to draw us closer. Condemnation pushes us away.
When we repent, God forgives completely. He doesn’t hold your past against you.
And you don’t have to either.

Dear woman,
Walk in the freedom Christ bought for you.
You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You are deeply loved. 💛

When you have a particular goal in mind, don't let other people's opinions become the compass that directs your life.

Advice can be valuable, and constructive criticism can help us grow. But not every opinion deserves a seat at the table where your dreams are being built.

People will always have something to say. Some will doubt you because they cannot see what you see. Others will try to define your limits based on their own fears and experiences.

Listen with wisdom, but choose your path with conviction.

If your goal is clear and your purpose is genuine, keep moving. Let your actions speak louder than the noise around you. Every meaningful journey requires courage, the courage to trust your vision even when it isn't understood.

At the end of the day, it is your life, your dream, and your responsibility to pursue it.

Believe in your goal before the world believes in you.
