THE LIFE OF AN EMPATH/FEELER/SEER
Definition:
Empath: from the word empathy. Someone who is usually able to tune into what's going on in others more than the average person, among other things.
Feelers: Very sensitive to the atmosphere around them.
Seers: People who are gifted to see. Their spiritual senses are very sharp. They are very sensitive to spiritual atmospheres of people, things and places.
Energy: the spiritual force/power in and being emitted or projected from a person, thing or place.

The reasons why feelers/seers/empaths sometimes have a hard time in social settings is because they pick up people's energies all the time.
When they walk into a room, even if it's their first time there, they sense things, smell things, hear things, see things, and perceive things that are none of their business, really. Like, they have no business knowing those things. They are not even trying to know. But the energy in the room and the people there is just so clear to them.
And that's why sometimes they are tempted to isolate themselves. Sometimes it can be so overwhelming that if they had their way, they would lock themselves up and never be in social environments. Of course, that's not realistic or even advisable, but it's a reality they live with every day.
If you have a friend or a loved one who is an empath, feeler or seer, or if you're one yourself, you'll notice they get socially 'exhausted' quickly, and sometimes they want to be alone a lot after being around people...mostly because you need to let go of all that and just receive the love of God and recharge in Him.
If you speak to them whether one on one or in a group, often, they are not listening to what you're saying first. They first pick up your energy, what's going on in your heart...and by the time they give attention to what you are saying, they may already be deeply affected by what you are not saying.
They interact from a heart to heart place. So if you have a negative attitude towards them, they will be affected by it as you interact with them, whether you express it verbally or not.
Sometimes they may get a headache, feel sick, feel as if arrows are being shot at them...many complex feelings, when they interact with someone who doesn't like them, even if the person hides it well. And if you love them, anytime they are around you, they will feel it instantly. And their hearts will open up to you like a flower.
If they go to a place where they are not wanted, they'll know almost instantly. If they are wanted, accepted and welcome, they'll know, even without them being told. And that's how they choose how far to interact with someone or a group of people. They listen to how their hearts are responding to the environment.
When their phones ring, they know if it's going to be a good call or a bad call before they pick up. When they receive a text, they can read the energy behind the text. As they interact with people whether one on one or in a group, they can tell you who loves them, who hates them and who doesn't care about them with shocking accuracy, without those people verbalising it. They don't look on the outside. They feel people's hearts.
They connect to the unseen and unsaid before they connect to the visible and the audible. It's a valuable gift, but it can also be excruciatingly painful because people sometimes hide war in their hearts, while smiling on the outside. So the empaths will pick up on the hidden war, and really struggle...while trying to reconcile what they are sensing with what they are seeing.
That's one of the reasons why feelers, seers and empaths need to have intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit all the time. He becomes your confidante. The one you pour out all those feelings into. The one you let to go at the end of every day and even during the day.
Otherwise you run the risk of not being able to cope. There are people who struggle mentally, but one of their triggers was they couldn't cope with this reality. Even in this, Jesus is the answer. Only He can keep us balanced and emotionally/mentally stable.
When empaths, feelers, seers yield completely to the control.of the Holy Spirit, they come to a place of such deep intimacy with the Lord where it's no longer them living but Christ living through them. He's the one expressing how He feels and thinks about people, places and things...only now through their feelings and thoughts.
When His heart is grieved, they feel grieved. And as they mature in fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, they can help many people and fulfil the purposes of God though intercession, the prophetic, healing, and so many other manifestations of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
1 Peter 5:7 ESV
Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
Psalm 55:22 New Living Translation
Give your burdens to the Lord,
and He will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.
