Honoring a Faithful Servant: Eld. Philibus Nome (Boka) 🕊️✨

Today, our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to a true soldier of the cross, Eld. Philibus Nome (affectionately known as Boka), who was laid to rest today.

Eld. Philibus was more than just a member; he was a steadfast pillar. Long before his time with us at SDA Church Tudun Wada, he poured his heart, strength, and faith into the mission field in Bakin Kogi, blazing trails and winning souls for Christ in places where the work was hard and the need was great. When he planted his roots with us in Tudun Wada, he brought that same unwavering dedication, warmth, and love for God's work.
His hands built, his life preached, and his legacy in the mission fields and within our church walls will never be forgotten.

While grief weighs heavily on our shoulders today, we do not grieve as those without hope. We hold fast to the Blessed Hope of the Resurrection Morning...knowing that this goodbye is only temporary, and we will see him again at the feet of Jesus.

To his family and loved ones, the entire Tudun Wada SDA church family wraps you in our prayers and deepest condolences. May the God of all comfort hold you close today and always.
Sleep on, faithful servant. Your labor of love is finished; now take your rest until the morning breaks. 🌅💜

Powerful PCM Week Recap!
​Yesterday’s PCM week was a beautiful reminder for all our students: even in these uncertain times, God remains our constant anchor. Let’s continue to hold fast to His promises and trust in His divine plan.

Happy Sabbath Preparation Everyone , Luke 4:16-20

16 Jesus traveled to Nazareth, where he had grown up. On the Sabbath day he went to the synagogue, as he always did, and stood up to read. 17 The book of Isaiah the prophet was given to him. He opened the book and found the place where this is written:

18 “The Lord has put his Spirit in me,
because he appointed me to tell the Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to tell the captives they are free
and to tell the blind that they can see again. Isaiah 61:1
God sent me to free those who have been treated unfairly Isaiah 58:6
19 and to announce the time when the Lord will show his kindness.” Isaiah 61:2
20 Jesus closed the book, gave it back to the assistant, and sat down. Everyone in the synagogue was watching Jesus closely.
