Humility – The Path to Greatness

Humility is a Christ-like attitude of recognizing God's greatness, depending on Him, and placing others above selfish interests. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of humility, as He willingly became a servant and obeyed God even to the point of death on the cross (Philippians 2:5–8). Because of His humility, God highly exalted Him.

A humble believer is teachable, obedient, willing to serve, accepts correction, and avoids pride. Humility attracts God's grace, promotes peace, brings wisdom, and leads to honor in God's appointed time. In contrast, pride leads to destruction, conflict, and separation from God.

Every Christian should intentionally cultivate humility through prayer, obedience to God's Word, dependence on the Holy Spirit, and a lifestyle of serving others. As the Bible teaches, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up" (James 4:10, KJV).

Today, I join the host of heaven and the entire Watchman family worldwide to celebrate God’s incredible grace in your life, Daddy. Thank you for being a true shepherd, a towering pillar of truth, and a vessel of honor in this generation.
Through your uncompromised teaching of the Word, your steadfastness, and your exemplary life of holiness, you have guided countless souls—including mine—into a deeper walk with God. You do not just preach the gospel; you live it.
My Prayer for You Today
May the Lord renew your strength like the eagle’s. I pray that the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit never ceases to flow upon your head, and may the grace to finish strong and empty be multiplied unto you. As your days are, so shall your strength be, in Jesus'name.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is our communication with God. Through prayer, we worship Him, confess our sins, thank Him, and present our needs. It strengthens our relationship with God and demonstrates our dependence on Him.

The Power of Prayer

It brings us closer to God.

It changes situations according to God's will.

It gives peace in times of trouble.

It strengthens us against temptation.

It brings guidance, healing, and spiritual growth.

Conditions for Effective Prayer

Faith in God.

Obedience to His Word.

A forgiving heart.

Praying according to God's will.

Persistence in prayer.

Hindrances to Prayer

Sin.

Doubt.

Unforgiveness.

Selfish motives.

Disobedience to God's Word.

Conclusion

Prayer is a vital part of the Christian life. God hears and answers the prayers of those who seek Him sincerely. Every believer should develop a consistent and faithful prayer life, trusting God to work according to His perfect will.

WAITING ON GOD'S TIME

Key Text: Isaiah 40:31

Waiting on God's time means trusting Him to fulfill His promises according to His perfect plan and timing. Although waiting can be difficult, God often uses it to strengthen our faith, prepare us for greater blessings, protect us from mistakes, and teach us to depend on Him.

The Bible gives many examples of people who waited on God, including Abraham, Joseph, David, and Hannah. Their patience was rewarded because they remained faithful and trusted God's promises.

While waiting, Christians should continue to pray, obey God's Word, serve Him faithfully, and avoid taking sinful shortcuts. Those who wait on the Lord receive renewed strength, spiritual maturity, peace, and God's best at the appointed time.

Conclusion:
God's timing is always perfect. Even when His answers seem delayed, He is working behind the scenes for our good. Therefore, trust Him, remain faithful, and wait patiently, knowing that He will fulfill His promises at the right time.

WHO IS YOUR MENTOR?

Introduction

Every great person in life was influenced by someone. No one rises to greatness alone. Behind every successful leader, minister, businessman, athlete, or professional, there is usually a mentor who guided, corrected, encouraged, and inspired them.

The question today is not whether mentorship matters. The real question is:

Who is your mentor?

Because whoever mentors you influences your thinking, your decisions, your character, and ultimately your destiny.

What Is a Mentor?

A mentor is someone who has gone ahead of you and is willing to guide you with wisdom, experience, instruction, and correction.

A mentor is not just a teacher.
A mentor is not just a friend.
A mentor is someone whose life gives direction to your life.

Why Do You Need a Mentor?

1. Mentors Help You Avoid Costly Mistakes

Life becomes easier when you learn from other people’s experiences instead of repeating their errors.

Proverbs 11:14 says:
“Where there is no counsel, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.”

A good mentor can save you years of pain, confusion, and failure.

2. Mentors Bring Wisdom and Direction

When you lack direction, you waste energy.
Mentors help you stay focused.

Joshua had Moses.
Elisha had Elijah.
Timothy had Paul.

These men succeeded because they submitted themselves to guidance.

3. Mentors Shape Your Character

Your character determines how far you can go.

A true mentor does not only celebrate your gifts; they correct your weaknesses.

Anyone who only praises you but never corrects you is dangerous.

4. Mentors Inspire Growth

You grow faster around people who challenge you to become better.

If the people around you have no vision, discipline, or purpose, eventually you may become like them.
