To the absolute glory of God and the continuous expansion of His earthly kingdom, the beautiful sanctuary of the Anglican Church of Praise, Osie, was officially dedicated on the 25th of May, 2026. This historic milestone, spiritual awakening, and triumph of faith was sealed in holiness through the apostolic hands of the Rt. Reverend Dr. O.A. Aderogba, the Lord Bishop of the Diocese of Jebba.

On behalf of the Bishop and the entire leadership of the Diocese, we pour out our deepest, most profound gratitude to everyone who made this dedication an unforgettable, resounding success. We recognize, honor, and appreciate the legal luminaries, the esteemed clergy, and the passionate lay faithful who traveled from far and near to honor this invitation. Your sacrificial presence, your heartfelt prayers, and your unalloyed financial and moral support have written a glorious new chapter in the history of Osie land.

As the Bishop of the Diocese of Jebba, my heart is overflowing with gratitude to Almighty God and to every one of you who sacrificed time and resources to attend this historic Installation and Collation Service. Your presence has added immense dignity and color to this sacred occasion.

I extend my deepest appreciation to everyone who has stood by us to support the Diocese of Jebba. Your prayers and generosity keep the work of the Gospel moving forward. Thank you also for being such a tremendous blessing and pillar of support to our newly honored leaders as they step into their elevated roles.

As you depart, I pray that the Lord Almighty blesses you abundantly and replenishes you a hundredfold for your kindness.

I decree that your journey back to your various destinations shall be safe, smooth, and covered by the blood of Jesus. May you arrive home to find your families in perfect peace and joy.

During the 70th birthday celebration of Venerable Peter Oluwasanya Ijatuyi the sermon delivered by Rt. Rev'd Dr. O.A.Aderogba from Psalm 100 highlighted the different stages of life and the growth that comes with each stage .

He described childhood as the stage of parental care language learning and culture building followed by the stage of correction during the teenage and youthful years.

He also spoke about the decision stage where life choices are made and the mature stage where many decisions remain with a person for life .

The Bishop concluded with the stage of gratitude from the age of seventy and above describing it as a season of thanksgiving reflection and appreciation to God for His faithfulness throughout life’s journey

Today, Rev Canon Ijatuyi Oluwasanya, Rev Canon Christopher Ofodile, Rev Canon Matthew Adedayo Adesoji, and Rev Canon John Dio were officially collated as Archdeacons in the Diocese of Jebba. This sacred elevation is a recognition of their faithful service, spiritual commitment, leadership, and dedication to the growth of God’s Church.

As Archdeacons, they are expected to provide sound spiritual leadership, support the mission and vision of the Diocese, strengthen unity within the Church, and serve as worthy examples to both clergy and laity. They are also called to uphold discipline, encourage ministers under their care, promote evangelism, and continue shepherding God’s people with humility, wisdom, and integrity.

This new responsibility is not only a position of honour but also a greater call to faithful service and accountability in God’s vineyard. Their lives and ministries are expected to inspire others and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the Gospel.

May the Lord grant them divine wisdom, strength, grace, and fresh anointing to fulfill this sacred office faithfully. May their ministries continue to flourish and bring glory to God and blessings to His Church, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today, Rev’d Samuel Kantiok Ayuba was officially installed as an Honorary Canon in the Diocese of Jebba — a recognition of faithful service, dedication to the work of God, and commitment to the growth of the Church. This honour comes with greater responsibility, spiritual leadership, and a renewed call to uphold the values and mission of Christ with humility, wisdom, and integrity.

As an Honorary Canon, he is expected to continue being a strong example to both ministers and members through sound teaching of the Word, godly character, faithful service, and support for the vision and unity of the Church. His life and ministry should remain a source of encouragement, spiritual guidance, and inspiration to many within and beyond the Diocese.

May the Almighty God grant him greater wisdom, strength, grace, and anointing for the responsibilities ahead. May his ministry continue to bear lasting fruits for the expansion of God’s Kingdom, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Medical checkup for all Priests, Evangelists, Missionaries, and their wives in the Diocese of Jebba was graciously organized by His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Dr. O. A. Aderogba, as part of his commitment to the wellbeing of ministers and their families. The programme reflects the Diocese’s deep concern for the health and strength of those laboring in God’s vineyard.

The work of ministry is physically, emotionally, and spiritually demanding, making good health essential for effective service. A healthy minister is better positioned to preach the Gospel, care for the Church, carry out missionary assignments, and provide spiritual guidance to God’s people.

Regular medical checkups help in the early detection and prevention of illnesses, encourage healthy living, and promote longevity in ministry. It also reminds ministers that caring for their health is an important responsibility, as the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Through this thoughtful initiative, His Lordship, The Rt. Rev. Dr. O. A. Aderogba, has demonstrated fatherly care and leadership, reaffirming the Diocese of Jebba’s commitment to the welfare and continuous effectiveness of its ministers and their families.
