I was seating on the wall of a fence when the word of the came to me and he thought me after this fashion. YOU CANNOT SEE OR PICTURE GOD AND HIS GLORY BY IMAGINATIONS. you see imagination is for one to create the world that is at his disposal. So you see in the congregation of the believers the man of God the says CLOSE YOUR EYES AND BEGIN TO PICTURE JESUS OR CLOSE YOUR EYES AND BEGIN TO SEE JESUS. But the truth is we can't begin to see Jesus until he reveals himself. But for a good note we have seen him already by his word, so it remains a fact that the easiest place to see Jesus is in his words:
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
John:5:39-40
Where some of us miss it is that we think the scriptures is this image of Jesus but no it points you to Jesus so that you can come to him.
So stop trying to picture his seating on the throne and clothed with glory; brother, sister you can't create God. Just submit yourself and let him come to you and reveal himself to you the way he wants:
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
Acts:1:3
And also it is not a necessity for you to close your eyes before God can reveal himself to you, God can give you a revelation with your eyes open:
And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:
