Life Challenges and How to Handle Them:
Life is indeed short and full of troubles. The Bible acknowledges the difficulties of life, reminding us that our time on earth is limited.

*Biblical Perspective*
- *Job 14:1* - "Mortals, born of woman, are of few days and full of trouble." (NIV)
- *Psalm 90:10* - "Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away." (NIV)

*Understanding Life Challenges*
1. *Life is unpredictable*: We can't control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we respond. (Proverbs 19:21)
2. *Troubles are inevitable*: Jesus promised that we would face troubles in this world, but He also promised to be with us. (John 16:33)

*Handling Life Challenges*
1. *God is our refuge*: In times of trouble, we can turn to God for comfort, strength, and guidance. (Psalm 46:1-3)
2. *Perseverance is key*: We must persevere through life's challenges, trusting that God is working everything out for our good. (Romans 5:3-5)
3. *Hope in eternity*: Our troubles are temporary, but our hope in eternity is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)

*Reflection and Application*
- How do I typically respond to life's challenges?
- Am I turning to God as my refuge in times of trouble?
- Am I persevering through difficulties, trusting in God's goodness?
- Am I keeping an eternal perspective, remembering that my troubles are temporary?

May God give us the strength, courage, and perseverance to face life's challenges, knowing that He is always with us!

Abundant Seed Sowing
*Luke 10:1-12* - Jesus sends out the seventy disciples to prepare the way for His ministry, instructing them to:

1. *Heal the sick*: Demonstrating God's compassion and power.
2. *Cast out demons*: Showing authority over the spiritual realm.
3. *Preach the gospel of the kingdom*: Proclaiming the Good News of God's kingdom.

This passage emphasizes the importance of:

- *Abundant seed sowing*: Spreading the message of the gospel widely, generously, and without restraint.
- *Empowering others*: Jesus sends out the seventy, empowering them to continue His ministry.
- *Demonstrating God's power*: Healing, casting out demons, and preaching the gospel demonstrate God's power and authority.

Reflection and Application
Let's reflect on our own role in abundant seed sowing:

- Am I generously sharing the gospel with others?
- Am I empowering others to continue the ministry of Jesus?
- Am I demonstrating God's power and authority in my life and ministry?

May God inspire us to abundant seed sowing, empowering us to spread the gospel widely and demonstrate His power and authority!

I wish we discuss on this topic-
Faith, Works, and Obedience: The Christian Life:

As Christians, we often hear about the importance of faith, works, and obedience. But what do these concepts really mean, and how do they relate to each other?

Faith: The Foundation
Faith is trusting in God and His promises, particularly in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It involves:

- Believing in God's existence and character (Hebrews 11:6).
- Trusting in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection for salvation (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
- Relying on God's Word and promises (Romans 4:20-22).

As theologian Charles Spurgeon said, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Commentary on Hebrews 11:1).

Works: The Expression
Works, in the context of Christianity, refer to actions and deeds that demonstrate one's faith. They include:

- Obedience to God's commands (John 14:15, 1 John 2:3-6).
- Serving others and showing love (Galatians 5:13-14, 1 John 3:18).
- Participating in spiritual disciplines like prayer, worship, and Bible study (Acts 2:42-47).

Author and pastor, John MacArthur, notes, "True faith always produces works, and works are the inevitable fruit of true faith" (The Gospel According to Jesus).

Obedience: The Connection
Obedience is the connection between faith and works. When we trust in God's Word, we're more likely to obey it. And when we obey, we demonstrate our trust. Obedience is not just about following rules or regulations; it's about surrendering to God's will and purposes.

As Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commands" (John 14:15).

The Relationship Between Faith, Works, and Obedience
The Bible teaches that faith and works are intimately connected:

- Genuine faith will produce good works (James 2:26).
- Works done without faith are empty and lacking in spiritual value (Hebrews 11:6).

Author and theologian, R.C. Sproul, writes, "Faith alone is the instrument of justification, but faith is never alone.

The Peculiar People Ministry Newsletter
2025: Taking a Step of Faith

Hebrews 11:1-6

Dear beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we step into the new year, 2025, we are reminded of the importance of faith in our walk with God. The Bible defines faith as "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). As we embark on this new journey, we are encouraged to take a step of faith, trusting in God's promises and provision.

Our Ministry's Vision

At The Peculiar People Ministry, our vision is to spread the Gospel, equip believers, and plant new churches. We believe that faith is the foundation of our relationship with God, and we seek to live out this faith in our daily lives.

Update on Our Ministry's Progress

By the grace of God, we have made significant progress in our ministry. We have:

- Established three DBS (Discovery Bible Study) groups, where believers are gathering to study the Word and grow in their faith.
- Begun the process of seed sowing, sharing the Gospel with those who have not yet heard.
- Started gathering disciples for our house church, providing a space for believers to worship, learn, and grow together.

Upcoming Events:

- Night Vigil: Second Friday of every month
- Mission Awareness and Mobilization: First half of the year
- The Great Commission Conference: Second half of the year
- Planting of 2-3 new churches

Weekly Activities:

- Sunday Fellowship
- Wednesday Prayer Meeting
- Saturday Evangelism/Outreach
- Bible Study Group (weekly)

A Call to Faith

Hebrews 11:2-6 reminds us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. We see examples of faith in action through the lives of Abel and Enoch, who both pleased God through their faith.

A Call to Partnership

We invite you to partner with us in prayers, support, and fellowship as we seek to fulfill God's purpose for our lives. Your partnership will enable us to:

- Spread the Gospel to more communities

-- Equip believers for effective ministry
-- Plant new churches in unreached areas

Let us walk together in faith, trusting that God will guide us and empower us to fulfill His purpose.

May God bless and encourage you as you seek to please Him through faith.

Yours in faith,

Godswill Samuel Manu

"I'm excited to share two updates with you:

Firstly, my wife's sister, Glory Godswill, has successfully launched a Bible club for children in our community. The inaugural meeting took place last Saturday, with an impressive attendance of 30 children.

Secondly, I've partnered with God's Bond Ministry to pioneer a new work among the Kona people group. By God's grace, the community responded positively, and we've seen around 60-70 members, including children, express interest. Most of these new believers are eager to be baptized. I've already reported back to the ministry leader to discuss plans for their baptism.

Please join me in thanking God for these encouraging developments!"

"I'm excited to share that I've made arrangements with family members in my community to start a Discovery Bible Study
