CELEBRATION SUNDAY, SECOND SERVICE.
DATE:10th May 2026
MINISTER: Pastor. Dr. Legson Paninga
TOPIC: Principles of honour
TEXT:1 Samuel 2:30, Romans 13:7 NKJV
Honour will downplay your status. You cannot honour people if you choose to focus on your humanly achievements.
PRINCIPLES OF HONOUR
1. Discernment.
You need to discern graces, places, atmosphere. Lack of discernment will make you stand in the presence of something very powerful and trivialize it.
In geography, not all lands are the same; some carry minerals, gold and diamond. People are carriers of spiritual realities but you don't know. God answers most of your prayers by sending you helpers of destiny. One of the primary ways to access treasures that have been hidden in men is through honour. Never get too familiar because thimgs are easily accessed. Honour all men because you need men. You will suffer on earth if you say you don't need men. Sexual purity is very relevant for your destiny. Po*******hy leads to marital dissatisfaction.
2. wisdom.
This is what translates into diplomacy and theprotocol of greatness. There are things you should not say or do in the presence of greatness. As in the story of Esther, if God permits you to come before a great man, find out what you can do for them not what they can do for you. Esther was able to deliver her people by wisdom. Abigail was able to use wisdom in dealings with david.
Remove the begging and victim mentality. Do not always think of what you can get from people, think of what you can do.
3. Forbearance or tolerance.
Nobody is perfect, not even your bosses or pastor. They might not always do things the way it should be done but it is all about the sincerity of the heart.Everybody as a man that will be used by God to help you will have their issues.
Ephesians 4:2NKJV
Forbearance is forgiving someone knowing that he will repeat his wrongdoing. If you cannot put up with people's weaknesses you will lose relationships. There is a level of greatness that you cannot attain without consistency.
