RESOLUTIONS
âť– That the world has four different concepts notably, Cosmos
(creation of God. Psalm 24: 1), Human world John 3:16, Moral
(human relationship with God and man) and Temporal world
(present and future, ROM 12;2)
âť– That as believers in Christ that lived in the world system, we must
endeavour to shine in the place of our works because we are not
of the world.

1âť– That the Church has lost its glory, full of envy which must be
stopped because Jesus will come for the church without spot or
wrinkle.

âť– That the world has eaten deep into the Church such that the
Church is becoming worldly noting that the Bible will never change
because of an unbeliever.

âť– That as followers of Christ faced with preasures of the world we
lived in, we should not blend in, conform or compromise by the life
pattern of the world.

âť– That Jesus prayer for believers living in the world is to overcome
and escape as light bearers and truth carriers with total dedication
to the will of God and His glory.

âť– That the moral World has two kingdom (The kingdom of light and
that of Darkness) in which believers are encouraged not to belong
to the kingdom of darkness where there is danger and death.

âť– That the Tax Reform by the Government of Nigeria is to raise
more revenue for social services, making the tax system fairer,
simplify tax laws and reducing loop holes to strengthen
compliances.

âť– That as believers who are law abiding citizens and stewards of our
resources should understand this Tax reform to help contribute
meaningfully to nation building and protect our individual and
cooperate financial health.

âť– That the World offered some gifts such as false prophet, fake
teacher, sweet messages, wealth/riches and fashion turning from
the truth.

2âť– That the only way to avert what the world offer is for a believer to
sacrifice himself to God through holy living.

âť– That there are prescription a believer need to take as he dwell in
this devilish world such as an ambassador, fair not as one live in
the world, have weapon of faith, separate self from love of the
world, go in this thy might and receive the crown of righteousness
among others.

âť– That as Christians, we should venture into business to be selfreliant and as well obtain our TIN number to align with the new
Tax reform.

âť– That as believers, we should not suffer or die in silence hence the
need for us to speak out and seek help.

âť– That we should strive to collect Voters Cards, NIN and also register
with any political party of our choice.

âť– That the Vice President of RCCN, the Reverend Dr. Ande Musa
brough greetings from RCCN Secretariat and inaugurated the new
MJDCC Chairman/Vice and an E. C member.

âť– Wishing all participants safe journey back to respective

2026 ANNUAL MJDCC CONFERENCE DAY 3 HOLDS AT RCCN ROADBLOCK

The 2026 Annual Magami Jalingo District Church Conference (MJDCC) continued powerfully on Day Three at RCCN Roadblock, with the resounding theme “IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD.” The session featured a thought-provoking message titled “WHAT THE WORLD OFFERS YOU,” delivered by the guest preacher, Rev. Dr. Demas Sam Sarki.

Taking his scriptural foundation from 1 Corinthians 15:31 and Romans 6:7–11, Rev. Dr. Sarki challenged believers to critically examine the realities of the world they live in and the spiritual discipline required to overcome its distractions. He emphasized that although Christians live in the world, they are not meant to conform to its systems, values, or deceptive offerings. According to him, believers need divine direction to successfully navigate the world without losing their faith.

In his teachings, the preacher highlighted several things the world offers. He warned against the rise of false prophets, citing Matthew 7:15 and John 10:10, noting that they often appear harmless, speak enticing words, and sometimes operate even within the church. He stressed that only the grace of God can help believers discern the truth and avoid deception.

Rev. Dr. Sarki also spoke against sweet doctrines, referencing 2 Timothy 4:3–4, explaining that many people prefer messages that please the ear rather than the true gospel. He reaffirmed that the authentic message of Christ remains repentance, salvation, and restoration, urging believers to be deliberate and intentional about their journey to heaven.

On the issue of wealth and riches, he clarified that prosperity is not a product of prophecy alone but of diligence and work, reminding the congregation that “he who does not work should not eat.” He further addressed fashion, describing it as one of the strong attractions of the world that many people struggle to live without.

Drawing from Galatians 2:20, the guest preacher concluded by outlining the principles for overcoming the world’s offerings. He called on believers to present themselves as holy sacrifices unto God and to reach a place of total surrender where Christ lives through them. He emphasized the need for a genuine change of heart, replacing a heart of stone with a heart of flesh, to serve God effectively and resist worldly influences.

The Day Three session was marked by deep reflection, spiritual awakening, and a renewed call to holiness, leaving participants encouraged to live lives fully surrendered to Christ.
