What do you do when God has spoken, but you are yet to see it happen?

This is where many of us struggle.
You prayed.
God gave you His Word.
You believed Him.

But the answer is taking longer than you expected.
And suddenly, you start feeling tired, weary, and even doubtful.
But what if the waiting is not a sign that God has forgotten you?

Sometimes, we pray and expect to see the answer almost immediately just like magic. But most times, it doesn't work that way.
Remember Abraham. God told him he was going to have a child, but it took years before Isaac came.

We have to trust God's Word and wait patiently for it to come to pass. In those moments of waiting, sometimes God is teaching us patience. Sometimes, He wants to see if we truly trust His Word.

So, what do you do while you wait?
You hold on to God's Word and keep declaring it over your life.

God has spoken about that situation. But what are you saying about it, irrespective of what you are seeing?

Say this out loud today:
I am not moved by what I see.
I am not moved by what I feel.
I am only moved by what I believe, and I believe God's Word.

Then go ahead and say what God has said concerning your situation.
For example, if you are trusting God for healing, say:

“God's Word says He Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed. I believe I am healed. I believe God's Word.”

Keep confessing God's promises over your life.
Don't let what you see make you forget what God has said.

Remember, you shall have whatever you say. Say what you want to have.

AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE’VE COME TO THE FINAL CHAPTER! 🥹📖✨

What a journey it has been! From learning what faith is, to understanding how to exercise it, speak it, act on God’s Word, and grow in it this book has truly been a blessing to me.

Now, as I close the final chapter of Walking by Faith by Kenneth E. Hagin, here are the lessons that stood out to me the most. ❤️

Just as the human mind can be trained intellectually, so the human spirit can be trained spiritually. It can be built up in strength just as the body can be built up.

4 ways to accomplish this:

Meditating on the Word of God.

Practicing the Word of God.

Giving the Word of God first place.

Instantly obeying the voice of our spirit.

One cannot develop spiritual wisdom without meditation in God's Word.

When you become a doer of God's Word, you will grow up spiritually.

Listening to what God's Word has to say to us is giving the Word first place in our lives.

As we learn to obey the voice of our spirit, we will come to the place where we know what we should do in all phases of life.
The Lord will guide us. 🙏🏽

MY FINAL TAKEAWAY:
This book has taught me that walking by faith is not just about believing God for something; it is a daily walk of knowing God's Word, acting on it, giving it first place, and allowing the Lord to guide me.

Faith must become a lifestyle. ❤️

Hi guys! Happy Sunday! 😊

I trust you had an awesome time in God’s presence.

Guys, can you believe we are already at the second-to-the-last chapter of this amazing book? 🥹 It’s been such an amazing journey reading Walking by Faith and sharing the lessons I’ve been learning along the way.

This particular chapter really caught my attention because it challenged me to pay closer attention to what I say, what I believe, and what I am preparing myself to receive. 🤔

Here are some of the lessons I learnt from this chapter. 👇🏽

“You can have whatever you say you can have.” 🤔

📖 Mark 11:23 (KJV)
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

What you say is your faith speaking.

You always get in your life what you believe for and what you say.

If you don’t believe what you are saying, you shouldn’t say it, because if you keep saying something long enough, those words eventually will register on your spirit.

And once they are registered on your spirit, they will control your life.

We fail sometimes because we get ready to fail. We prepare to fail. We think it, believe it, and then do it.

As believers, however, we have no business talking failure or doubt. We should talk faith. 🙏🏽

CHAPTER 11 📖
Walking by Faith — Kenneth E. Hagin

What if doubt is the very thing standing between you and what God has planned for you? 🤔

That was one of the lessons that really stood out to me in this chapter. I learnt that doubt can rob a believer of God’s best for his life.

Doubt and fear go hand in hand, but faith and love also go hand in hand. Faith is acting on the Word of God.

Peter is a good example of this. As long as he acted on Jesus’ word and kept walking on the water, he was fine.

But when he began to doubt and became afraid, he stopped acting on Jesus’ word—and he began to sink. (Matthew 14:22–31)

I also learnt that every Spirit-filled believer has within him enough power to claim God’s very best for his life.

If we are living beneath our privileges, it is not because we lack the power, but because we have failed to release that power through faith.

When we utilize the power within us, act on God’s Word, and refuse to allow doubt and fear to take over, we can walk in the blessings God has planned for our lives.

Another powerful lesson learnt! ❤️

CHAPTER 10 📖 of Walking by Faith by Kenneth E. Hagin

“If we find ourselves at the bottom of life's ladder, it is because that is all we have believed for. When we talk and believe right, we will climb to the top.”

As I went through this chapter, I learned four important steps to faith, and this chapter really reminded me that faith requires our participation. There is a God-ward side and a man-ward side to everything we receive from God. We have our part to play.

STEP 1: SAY IT 🗣️

There is a God-ward side and a man-ward side to every battle, every victory, and everything else we receive from God. We have our part to play. There is something we must do.

God will not fail. If there is any failure, it is on our part. However, if we do our part, we can be sure there will be an answer and a victory.

STEP 2: DO IT 🚶‍♀️

Our actions either defeat us or put us over. According to our actions, we either receive or are kept from receiving.

STEP 3: RECEIVE IT 🙌

Most people want the feeling and the healing first, and then they think they will have the saying and the doing. But it doesn't work that way.

You have to have the saying and the doing first. Then you will have the feeling and the healing.

Remember the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25–34. She confessed her faith, then acted upon that faith by reaching out and touching the Master. Then she received her healing. She felt in her body that she was healed of the plague.

STEP 4: TELL IT 📢

We have to say some things in faith before we ever receive them from God.

People say the wrong thing because they believe the wrong thing. When they start believing and saying the right thing, that is what they will have.

This chapter really taught me that faith involves saying, doing, receiving, and telling. What we believe affects what we say, and what we say must be backed up by corresponding action.

CHAPTER 9 📖 | WALKING BY FAITH

Another chapter, another lesson! ❤️

One thing that really stood out to me in this chapter is that our actions must correspond with our faith.

It is not enough to confess the Word of God; our actions must agree with what we believe.

One of the greatest mistakes believers make is to confess their faith in the Word of God, yet, at the same time, contradict their confession by wrong actions.

We say we are trusting God to provide for our financial needs, but at the same time, worry about how we are going to pay our bills.

Our actions must correspond with our believing if we are to receive from God.

The action of a doer of the Word coincides with his confession.

The storms of life come to us all. Those who are not defeated by life's storms act on God's Word.

Those who are defeated may be truly saved, yet their actions do not correspond with their faith.

The way to make God's Word your own is to act upon it. Do what it says.

Until there are corresponding actions, there will be continual failure in life.

Wrap yourself in the promises of God. 🙏❤️

CHAPTER 8 📖 | Walking by Faith

What if some of the things standing in the way of our faith are things we haven’t understood? 🤔

This chapter really opened my eyes to something important: faith has enemies. And honestly, I found myself reflecting on how easily these things can affect our faith walk without us even realizing it.

Here are the six enemies of faith I learned about in this chapter:

1. Failure to understand what it means to be a new creature in Christ.

Lack of understanding of what it means to be a new creature hinders our faith life.

2. Failure to understand our place.

3. Failure to understand righteousness.

4. Failure to understand our right to use the Name of Jesus.

When we fully realize the power of Jesus' Name, when we understand what the Name will do, then we can defeat Satan and enjoy victory.

5. Failure to act upon the Word.

If we know that God's Word is true and act as if it is true, it becomes a reality in our lives.

6. Failure to hold fast to our confession.
Faith is measured by our confession. Eventually, we become what we confess, whether for good or bad.

We are what we say.

One thing I’m taking away from this chapter is that it’s not enough to know the Word—we must understand it, believe it, act on it, and hold fast to what we confess. 🙏🏽

CHAPTER 7 OF WALKING BY FAITH BY KENNETH E. HAGIN 📖

Another chapter, another lesson! 😊
One thing that really stood out to me in this chapter is the power of our confession. What we say matters, and this chapter really challenged me to pay attention to the words coming out of my mouth.

Here’s what I learnt 👇🏽
The confession of our lips will give either God or Satan dominion over us.

There are right and wrong confessions.

Wrong confession is a confession of defeat and failure and the supremacy of Satan.

Talking about how the devil is keeping you from success, holding you in bo***ge or keeping you sick is a confession of defeat, and such confession glorifies the devil.

When we testify to what God has done for us, we glorify Him; by the same token, when we talk about what the devil is doing and we list our failures and defeats, we glorify the devil.

Many people lose the blessing that God has for them just by making a wrong confession.

A confession that glorifies the devil is an unconscious declaration that God is a failure! 🤔

Such a confession destroys our faith and holds us in bo***ge.

The confession of Satan's ability to hinder and keep us from success gives him dominion over us.

Therefore, with our mouth we either give God or Satan dominion over us.

The confession of your lips that has grown out of faith in your heart will absolutely defeat the devil in every combat.

Fear and doubt are from the devil.

Don't confess your doubt; this is not to say you don't admit doubts if you have them. Just don't say anything about them.

We should not confess fear; rather, we should confess power, love and a sound mind.

Instead of confessing doubts and fears, confess what God's Word says.

Stop talking the devil's language of doubt and fear.
Start talking God's language of faith.
God is a faith God. We are faith children of a faith God. 🙌🏽

What are you saying about yourself? 🤔

Your confession matters because what you believe will eventually come out of your mouth.
You cannot confess what you don't know. You cannot consistently speak words that are contrary to what you believe and expect to walk in the reality of God's Word.

That’s one of the things that stood out to me in Chapter 6 of Walking by Faith by Kenneth E. Hagin. 📖

This chapter challenged me to examine what I know about who I am in Christ, what I believe, and what I confess.

Here’s what I learnt from Chapter 5. 👇🏽

Confession is testifying to something we know. It is impossible to testify to something we don't know.

It is of primary importance to be born again, but because someone has been born again does not necessarily mean he is a successful Christian. He must know what he is in Christ Jesus.

When we know what we are in Him, think in line with that, believe and confess it, there is no failure in us.

We must get our thinking in line with God's Word, and then our believing will be right. When our believing is right, we can confess, say, affirm, witness, and testify to what God's Word says about us.

Then we will succeed. Then life will be different for us!
