Gov Agbu Kefas and others top state officials joined Gen. TY Danjuma (Rtd.) in commissioning the 'Daisy Danjuma Eye Hospital' in Takum.
This magnificent facility by the TY Danjuma Foundation will provide comprehensive 'Eye Care Services' not only to the host Community but also to the entire people of Taraba State, all at subsidized rates.

We can't appreciate Gen. TY Danjuma enough for his numerous developmental initiatives across Taraba State.

2024 Appropriation Bill to the Taraba State Assembly - THE BUDGET OF MOVING FORWARD.

"It is therefore, with great pleasure, that I lay before this Honourable House the 2024 Taraba State Appropriation Bill that I titled the “BUDGET OF MOVING FORWARD” to the tune of Three Hundred and Eleven Billion, Three Hundred and Eighty-Eight Million, Five Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand, Six Hundred and Sixty-One Naira, Ninety-Six Kobo (₦311,388,525,661.96). I call upon the honorable members of the State House of Assembly to consider and deliberate on the 2024 budget, with the understanding that it represents a collective commitment to the well-being and future of our state."

Together, let us continue to strive for excellence, innovation and progress.

Earlier today, Team Taraba visited UNICEF's HQ in New York, where a productive meeting took place between both Parties. We will be hosting UNICEF in Taraba, come January 2024.

As a Government with a 'People Centered Agenda' for development, we are deliberate on finding practical solutions, and we do understand our inadequacies hence our engagement with the United Nations to seek productive partnerships and Support - with Education and Health top on our list. Also, the issues of Poverty and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Agriculture and Livelihoods, Climate Change and Ecosystem Resilience at the front roll of our agenda.

Yesterday, Team Taraba held an important meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group, Amina J. Mohammed, in the United States of America.

It was a presentation to the United Nations via the office of Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, who doubles as Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group.
