IWO DIL'A ORGANISED A PROFOUND EXPLORATION OF LEARNING, BROTHERHOOD, AND COMMUNAL CELEBRATION ON ATFAL DAY

The grand finale of this year's Atfal Day Celebration took place in Iwo Town, Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State on the 24th day of May, 2026. The celebration was remarkable, nourishing and a true reflection of the theme, "How to be a Source of Joy to the Parents, Community and the World", and was designed to inspire learning, strengthen brotherhood, and nurture a spirit of collective celebration among members of the Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya, Iwo Dil'a.
The day commenced with an educative excursion to the Rabsih Imec Nigeria Limited (Mogaji Engineering Factory) at Isalẹ Ọba, Iwo, Osun State aroun 9:30 am. This visit provided the Aftal with a comprehensive learning experience as they walked through the entire large factory site from beginning to end. Among the modern instruments shown to them were the rice milling machines, pole-making machines, iron machines, agricultural machines, which could be found in the factory amongst several others. Part of the entourage of the excursion were two missionaries of the Jamma't (Missionary Tajudeen Mutahir and Missionary Abdulfatai Tijani)who were also thrilled to witness the equipment and facilities shown to the Atfal at the factory.
The Atfal also used the opportunity to visit the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city of Iwo sited in the premises of the factory, which was built in 2019 by Alhaji Idris Fasasi Mogaji— the Chief Executive Officer of the company, and the Atfal were so excited to see the aesthetics of the mosque.
Thereafter, a visitation was made to the centre of the city where the symbol of Iwo, Odidere bird, is located at the heart of the city and they were happy to take pictures in front of the edifice.
Afterwards, the programme transitioned into a scholarly symposium and the colourful event was chaired by the Iwo Circuit President Mr. Oyeniran Isiaka Adeboye where He delivered the welcome address, and we were delighted to witness the “Delights of Eyes,” Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya Iwo Dil‘a. He warmly welcomed everyone and congratulated them on the occasion of the Atfal Day Celebration 2026.
The Opening Qur’an was beautifully recited by Tifl Abdullah Abdul Rahman, after which the Atfal Pledge was led by Tifl Akinroye Ashrof.
In continuation, the welcome address was delivered by the Acting Dil'a Qaid, Bro. Jimoh Abdulganiy Sahib, who formally welcomed all dignitaries and participants and outlined the objectives of the symposium in line with the 2026 Atfal Day theme: “How to Be a Source of Joy to Our Parents, Community, and the World.”
Subsequently, a goodwill message on behalf of the MKAN Osun State Qaid, Mr. Adejumo Abdul Hafeez, was delivered by Missionary Alausa Jalailudeen Tobi, Naib Muhtamim Tahrik-e-Jadid, MKA Nigeria. In his remarks, he commended the Atfal for their active participation and encouraged them to remain steadfast in discipline, service to humanity, and moral excellence.
Following this, a detailed report of activities was presented by Bro. Abdulmujeeb Tadese, who highlighted the various programmes undertaken during the Atfal Day celebration, including welfare visitations, Waqar-e-Amal, Tabligh Walk, and the educational excursion. His report provided a comprehensive overview of the impact and success of the activities.
A major highlight of the session was the keynote address delivered by Tifl Oyeniran Ridwanullahi, a member of Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya Iwo Dil'a and a student of Madrasatul Tahfeedhil Qur’an Ahmadiyya Nigeria. In his presentation, he expanded on the theme with practical illustrations, encouraging Atfal to embody good conduct, spiritual devotion, obedience to parents, respect for elders, engaging in community services and academic excellence as pathways to positive societal impact.
There were words of encouragement from two of the elders present at the symposium who lauded the efforts of the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Iwo Dil'a, for the outstanding display of the Atfal. They also prayed earnestly for them and their parents.
Quiz competition and spelling bee competition was held between Atfal that are in secondary school level and they were able to learn and gained a lot from it.
The session was brought to an end with the closing prayer led by the Circuit Missionary, Missionary Abdul Ghaniy Abdul Azeez.
Among the dignitaries present at the programme were Mr. Alabi T.O., President of Idi Omo Jama’at; Alhaji Prince Tadese Abdullateef; Mr. Adepoju Mikail, Nazim Ansarullah Iwo Dil‘a; Ustaz Abdul Hakeem Ibiyemi, GS Iwo Circuit; Ustaz Nafiu Tajudeen; and respected missionaries, Tajudeen Mutahir and Abdulfatai Tijani, among others.
The Atfal Day Celebration concluded with a warm and compassionate departure, as the Atfal left with hearts filled with inspiration and a renewed commitment to the principles they explored throughout the day.
With a total of 31 and 10 dedicated handlers, the program was a resounding success.
