“First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me— and there was no one left to speak out for me.”

― Rev. Martin Niemöller

Samson and I
"This is a short piece on Samson's life as told by his guardian angel. It is an excerpt from the soon to be published novella 'Monitored' by Oladimeji Ojo"

The first days of Samson were a joy. I had been sent with Gabril to announce his coming and to ensure he fulfilled his purpose. From his young days, I found it pleasing to watch Jehovah’s chosen work great works, even as a child, though the scribes failed to record it for they knew not what he was to become. I watched and recorded, the days when he as a child, wary of his bath water would lift his mother’s handmaiden by her thumb, turning over the basin of water. The days when, as a lad, he lifted chariots to reach toys that had rolled under them by mistake. The strength of the spirit filled his veins and though he knew it not, he used it still.
