We are more of a Family Church, where we show concern to one another. We started as a one-assembly Church but today we are a District in the Mission with seven established Assemblies and a Fellowship Center. We have passion for evangelism and the welfare of our members. VISION OF OUR FATHERSIn 1987, our father, Trustee/Pastor Ben Okpaise, the visionary Leader that God used to bring up Itire 1 and
her off-springs, assisted by Pastor D. E. Sokunbi with the leadership of the Church had this great vision to have an English service in Itire 1 for three major reasons.(i) To cater for the members of the church who feel more comfortable with the EnglishLanguage as a medium of communication, in particular the young ones.(ii) To forestall a situation whereby other denominations will sn**ch the children of theChurch due to language of worship.(iii) To cater for the non-Yoruba speakers who would love to identify with the God of ChristApostolic Church, in particular new converts that will be won through evangelism.PROMOTION TO ENGLISH ASSEMBLY DISTRICTIn December 2008, English Assembly was upgraded to English Assembly District by the leadership of the Mission, without any agitation by the Church and Pastor J. B. Aluko was appointed as the first District Superintendent. Pastor E. O. Adelusi resumed as the second District Superintendent in July 2010.
