Mark 6:12 And they went out and preached that men should repent.
Jesus preached, Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Christ came to liberate not to control. The Apostles follow suit, preach truth, not lies. Missionaries gave their lives in service and stood against the powers of empires, not compromised.
Many preachers today are not standing with the oppressed but with the oppressors. Not with the conquered but with the conqueror.
The church ought to truly mirror Christ by warning Emperors, Kings, Presidents, and title holders of impending danger of hell fire ahead of them.
The gospel of Christ is meant to liberate the weak, not to conquer them. Jesus tackled the Pharisees, was never quiet in the face of injustice, oppression, and intimidation. He stands firm with vulnerable and not the vultures.
Many preach nice sermons on Sunday but encourage evil systems daily. Never challenged institutions that pretend benevolence while negotiating for control behind closed doors.
The church must stand with the weak, just like Christ stood with the occupied. Not the occupiers
Some preachers made the gospel of Christ look like *deception and scam,* and yet it's not.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is good news. It liberates people and comforts those who are sad. Healing of the brokenhearted. Proclaims liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
But what do we have today, motivational speakers, misleading, mispresenting, distorting the scriptures for personal gains. *Remember, the judgment must begin at the house of God.*
If it first begin at you, what shall the end be of them you have led astray and those that obey not the gospel of God?
Jesus called the Pharisees Hypocrites. You serpents, generation of vipers. Some preachers still fit this description:
Jesus asked how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
