I made a post saying that pastors should not be teaching members about “mysteries of altars,” “territorial démons,” “ancient gates,” and “foundational battles” when those same members lack basic human decency yet somehow know everything about spiritual warfaré.
When believers cannot represent the basic character of Christ, they have no business fighting démons.
How do you expect Christ to listen to your warfaré prayers when nothing in your attitude, behavior, or character shows that you truly know Him?
The real warfaré many believers should focus on is not screaming at invisible demons.
Fîght your angér.
Fîght your gossîp.
Fîght your malice.
Fîght your jealousy.
Fîght your pride.
Fîght your bád attitude.
Fîght your dishonesty.
Fîght the hatred in your heart.
That is the warfaré many people are avoiding.
Instead, we have people who cannot control their temper but want to control territorial spirits.
People who insult everybody around them but spend hours binding démons.
People who cannot forgive ordinary human beings yet claim they are dealing with ancient powers.
Meanwhile, the Bible already made it clear what Christ accomplished.
Colossians 2:15 (NLT):
“In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.”
Christ already defeated the enemy.
What many believers need now is KNOWLEDGE, growth, transformation, and maturity, not endless obsession with fîghting invisible démons every single day.
Christianity is supposed to first transform your life before turning you into a “warfare machine.”
If your character still looks nothing like Christ, then your first prayer point should not be “Holy Ghost fire.”
It should be:
“Lord, CHANGE ME.”
