TEACHING THEME: DELIVERED TO SERVE
SCRIPTURAL REFERENCES: "Exodus 3:12, 5:1 8:1, 9:1 , 10:3"
MOMENT OF Truth: God doesn’t just deliver from pain He delivers for purpose. Freedom without service is a trap. Every deliverance from captivity, limitation, and oppression is tied to one mandate: TO SERVE GOD. REMEMBER,IN THE ABSENCE OF PURPOSE, ABUSE TURNS INEVITABLE. DON'T FORGET THAT FOR WHATEVER GOD ALLOWS YOUR WAY IS A DIRECT LINE OF ACTIVATED SERVICE UNTO HIM UNFORTUNATELY MANY HAVE FELT AND DONE OTHERWISE LEADING TO THE CHAOS BEING EXPERIENCED IN OUR SOCIETY TODAY.
1. THE DIVINE REASON FOR DELIVERANCE: “LET MY PEOPLE GO, THAT THEY MAY SERVE ME”
God’s command to Pharaoh was repeated "10" plus times. The goal wasn’t just freedom from bricks and mortar nor for them to live their own lives but it was freedom for worship and service.
Key Scriptures:
1. Exodus 3:12 “This shall be a token unto thee... when thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.”
God told Moses the end-goal before the journey began: Deliverance equals to Service.
2. Exodus 5:1 “Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.”
First demand to Pharaoh. To host a feast and worship to serve.
3. Exodus 8:1 “Let my people go, that they may serve me.”
4. Exodus 9:1 “Let my people go, that they may serve me.”
5. Exodus 10:3 “How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.”
Notice: Every plague increased the pressure until Pharaoh released them FOR SERVICE.
6. Exodus 4:23 “Let my son go, that he may serve me.”
God calls Israel “My firstborn son”. A son is for service, not slavery. BELOVED, IT'S BETTER TO SERVE GOD YOUR LOVING FATHER THAN TO BE A SLAVE TO THE WICKED SATAN!
2. OTHER SCRIPTURES THAT CONFIRM “THE ESSENCE OF DELIVERANCE IS TO SERVE GOD”
7. 1 Samuel 7:3 “If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts... and serve him only, then he will deliver you”
Condition for deliverance: Return and be willing to Serve. God fights for those who choose to serve Him.
8. Psalm 105:43-45 “And he brought forth his people with gladness... That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws.”
God brought them out with joy so they could obey and serve.
9. Luke 1:74-75 “That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness”
Zachariah’s prophecy. New Testament confirmation: Deliverance equals Fearless Service.
10. Romans 6:22 “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God”
Salvation itself is a transfer from slavery of sin and servanthood to sonship of God unto pure worship.
11. Deuteronomy 6:12-13 “Then beware... forget not the LORD... Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him”_
Warning after deliverance: Don’t forget God after He brings you out which is in common place as so many people have been repeatedly caught up in this web of insanity and Serve activated pains. Let's Us Learn To Truly Serve Him For Our Continual Good.
3. THE EXCHANGE: GOD FIGHTS YOUR ENEMY WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO SERVE HIM
Exodus 14:14 – “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”
Exodus 23:25 “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”
My Point: Pharaoh in this context represents every “captivity” fighting you: sickness, limitation, delay, satanic oppression and so forth-God’s instruction is still the same: “Let my people go that they may serve me”. Once you decide to serve God, He becomes an enemy to your enemy.
However if you are still interested in your selfish operations and giving less or second place to God then be well assured to remain in that captivity or operations for longer periods.
DEDICATION :
1. Acknowledge: “Lord, I was created to serve You, not my challenges nor myself or anyone else.
2. Surrender: Decide today “I’m available to serve God with my life, gift, time, seed.”
3. Declare: Every Pharaoh holding my destiny and all that concerns my glory must release them now, in Jesus’ name!
Closing Charge: HELBIN was raised for this mandate. As we light up Imo LGAs this June, we’re not just breaking chains — we’re raising servants. Those who serve God, God will fight for them and be an enemy to their enemies as reiterated in Exodus 19:5-6.
