[6/14, 12:09 PM] Eze1: Good morning Everyone and happy Sunday
[6/14, 12:10 PM] Eze1: Am happy to be at the service today, and I want to share the massage that I met the Church today
[6/14, 12:10 PM] Eze1: Topic is. WISDOM
[6/14, 12:16 PM] Eze1: I did not meet readings from the GO, so the is from Evangelis Chibueze.
[6/14, 12:16 PM] Eze1: In 1 Samuel 3:15–17, after God spoke to Samuel during the night, Samuel was afraid to tell Eli the message because it contained God's judgment against Eli's family.
Verse 15: Samuel stayed until morning and opened the doors of the house of the Lord, but he was afraid to tell Eli what God had revealed.
Verse 16: Eli called Samuel and asked him to come.
Verse 17: Eli urged Samuel to tell him everything God had said and warned him not to hide any part of the message.
The passage teaches
[6/14, 12:17 PM] Eze1: Listen to the important part of it which is 18
[6/14, 12:18 PM] Eze1: Verse 18: Samuel told Eli everything and hid nothing from him. Eli responded, "He is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him."
[6/14, 12:20 PM] Eze1: Wisdom is not only knowing God's judgment; it is also knowing how to respond to it.
When Eli heard the message from Samuel, he simply said, "It is the Lord; let Him do what seems good to Him" (1 Samuel 3:18). While this showed submission to God's authority, the passage does not record Eli seeking God's mercy, repenting on behalf of his household, or taking further action against the sins that had brought God's judgment.
A wise person does not merely accept consequences; he seeks God's face, repents, and asks for mercy. Throughout Scripture, we see people like King David, Hezekiah, and the people of Nineveh respond to God's warnings with repentance and prayer, and God showed mercy.
Therefore, one lesson from Eli's story is that wisdom requires immediate action when God reveals our errors. It is not enough to say, "God's will be done"; wisdom moves us to repent, correct our mistakes, and seek God's mercy while there is still time
[6/14, 12:23 PM] Eze1: GO later added. Ecclesiastes 10:15 says:
"The toil of fools wearies them, for they do not know the way to the city
[6/14, 12:23 PM] Eze1: This verse teaches that a fool struggles unnecessarily because he lacks wisdom and direction. The phrase "does not know the way to the city" refers to someone who cannot find even the most basic path, showing a lack of understanding and judgment.
[6/14, 12:25 PM] Eze1: A fool becomes tired because he keeps walking in the wrong direction. Wisdom helps us find the right path before we spend our strength. Before taking action, seek God's guidance, learn from others, and understand the way forward. A little wisdom can save years of unnecessary labor.

1. God has a plan for your destiny
“I know the thoughts… toward you” — Your future is not random; God is intentional about it.
2. God’s plan brings peace, not destruction
“Thoughts of peace, and not of evil” — Even when life feels hard, God’s purpose is for good.
3. Destiny has an expected end
“To give you an expected end” — Your destiny has a hopeful outcome, not confusion.
4. Present struggles don’t cancel future glory
This promise was given while Israel was in exile—meaning delay is not denial.
