TEN THINGS BELIEVERS DO WITH MONEY THAT WILL MAKE GOD NEVER REWARD THEM WITH PROSPERITY.

IF YOU HAVE BEEN GIVING AND SOWING AND NOT SEEING GOD'S PROVISION POWER IN YOUR LIFE, THIS POST IS FOR YOU.

ORDINARILY, MANY THINGS IN SCRIPTURES OUTLINE THE IMMENSE IMPORTANCE OF USE OF MONEY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER TO PROVOKE GOD'S MERCIES OF FINANCIAL BREAKTHROUGH AND PROSPERITY.

HOWEVER, MANY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE GOD'S MERCIES TO BRING HIS FINANCIAL BLESSINGS INTO THEIR LIVES BECAUSE OF CERTAIN ERRORS.

NOT ALL FINANCIAL SEED , OFFERING AND SACRIFICIAL GIVINGS IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD.

(1) WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE NEEDY, GOD OR SOW TO GOD'S REPRESENTATIVE THE WORST OR LEAST/ BAD PART OF THE GOOD YOU HAVE .

"Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts. (Malachi 1:7-8)

(2) WHEN YOU OFFER EITHER BIG OR SMALL TO GOD WITH SIN IN YOUR LIFE. EVERY ACCEPTABLE OFFERING DEMANDS YOU MUST BE ACCEPTABLE YOURSELF TO GOD FIRST.
BIBLE SAYS:

" And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering.
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.
(Genesis 4:4-7)

(3) WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE POOR, GOD OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE YET ANNOUNCING TO THE WHOLE WORLD AND THE PUBLIC FOR VAIN REASONS. THE POINT HERE IS YOUR INTENTION.
Jesus says:

"Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward, but when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.( Matthew 6:2-4)

(4) WHEN YOU GIVE TO THE NEEDY GOD OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE GRUDGINGLY.

"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
( 2 Corinthians 9:7)

(5) WHEN YOU SOW OR GIVE TO GOD WITHOUT MAKING DEMANDS ON THE RETURN YOU DESIRE BUT YOU LEAVE GOD TO USE HIS "BRAIN" TO GIVE BACK TO YOU WHATEVER HE LIKES.

SOME PEOPLE DO THIS BECAUSE THEY FEEL IT MAKES GOD SEE THEM AS BEING GOOD BUT IT'S A WRONG CALL.

IF YOU DON'T ASK, YOU WON'T RECEIVE.
See What the Lord says:

"Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not." (James 4:2)

(6) WHEN YOUR PURPOSES AND INTENTION FOR GIVING WAS TO SHOW OFF.

"Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. (Matthew 6:2)

(7) WHEN YOU GIVE NOT BECAUSE YOU ARE CONVINCED OR YOU HAVE FAITH BUT YOU GIVE BECAUSE THE PASTOR SAYS JUST GIVE.

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for HE THAT COMES TO GOD MUST BELIEVE that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6)

(8) WHEN YOU GIVE TO GOD OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE YET YOU KEEP TALKING CONTRARY TO THE GOOD EXPECTATIONS THE GIVINGS ARE SUPPOSED TO BRING. A RIGHT GIVING HAND AND RIGHT SPEAKING MOUTH ARE CRITICAL TO SEEING YOUR RIGHT REWARDS ON GIVINGS.

" A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him. (Proverbs 12:14)

(9) WHEN YOUR INTENTION OF GIVING IS ONLY TO "TRICK" GOD TO PROSPER YOU BECAUSE YOU WANT TO BLOW AND NOT BECAUSE YOU LOVE GOD AND HIS WAYS.
The Bible says:

" He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.(Ecclesiastes 5:10)
GOD IS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER NOT OUR HEAVENLY BANKER SO BE BEWARE!!!

(10) WHEN YOU GIVE TO GOD OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE BUT IGNORE THE REAL POOR AND NEEDY.

"He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth to the rich, shall surely come to want."
(Proverbs 22:16)

MAY GOD GIVE YOU FINANCIAL GIVING UNDERSTANDING IN JESUS NAME.

In 1990, Shina Peters built a house with N20 million naira; the same year Jim Ovia started Zenith Bank with the same amount.

Today, you and I don't have a room in Shina's house but I have an account in Jim's bank and probably you do too.

Shina's house was built in Iju Lagos and remains there till date.

Jim's bank started in a corner and now has over 500 branches in Nigeria, and many international branches.

Millions upon millions transact business in Jim's bank daily.

Shina's house is becoming dilapidated...in 2015, he SPENT more money to renovate the house and bought a Nissan Pathfinder with N10 million...additional liability, while in the same 2015, Jim's bank MADE a profit of N105.7 billion.

Zenith bank employs hundreds of thousands, and feeds their families.

This is the difference between Assets and Liability. If you buy a car for N20 million today, in 20 years time, you will be ashamed to drive it.

On the other hand, if you invest that same amount in a lucrative business or in an asset, It may be worth billions in 20 years. ( Jim Ovia is now worth $980 million dollars, with the official dollar rate of N320, that means he is worth N313 BILLION NAIRA because of an investment of N20 million).

Spend the little money you have today wisely. Some people driving expensive cars today, are not aware that they are driving their future and the future of their children.

Some people carrying iphone7 today, may not be aware that they are carrying their future.
When you are young, don't spend money. Invest it.

Every penny in your hand is like a seed, you can decide to eat it, or sow it. When you sow it, it will bear much more seeds later in future.

THE SEVEN MOST DIFFICULT ASPECTS OF A FATHER AND SON RELATIONSHIP:
PART ONE.

The FATHER and SON relationship is a BLESSING, if only you UNDERSTAND the RULES of ENGAGEMENT.

Before you CALL ANYONE your FATHER, please check your ABILITY to MANAGE these SEVEN DIFFICULT AREAS.

SONS who are not MATURED will always have PROBLEMS in these areas of ENGAGEMENTS.

1. WHEN YOU SEE YOUR GENUINE FATHER RELATING WITH THE SAME PERSON YOU AVOIDED BECAUSE YOU KNOW HE IS VERY FAKE AND 'DIRTY':

You are the one that sees that person as being fake.

YOUR FATHER is more matured than you, he knows HIMSELF is WEAK IN ONE AREA OF LIFE.

You are also weak in your own area of weakness.

And that person is also weak in his own way.

The only problem with that person you call fake is that, he relates with so many people in the same way.

There are things you don't do with more than 2 or 3 people in this life.

When COVENANT BROTHERS become TOO MANY, IT WILL BECOME COVENANT BREAKERS.

Most PEOPLE STEAL, but it is THE ONE that is CAUGHT that is called a THIEF.

But when you are GENUINE and you are VERY CONVINCED that this PERSON IS FAKE and NOT JUST WEAK, and the FATHER YOU SEE AS GENUINE is now INVITING HIM or PREACHING for him, it becomes a CHALLENGE to MANAGE.

If YOU ARE NOT MATURED in HANDLING this issue, YOU WILL BE OFFENDED.

But please understand, there is a WORLD of difference between FAKENESS and WEAKNESS.

Every PASTOR on EARTH is WEAK in ONE AREA OF LIFE.

But not ALL PASTORS are FAKE.

I can relate with a WEAK PASTOR, Because I am also WEAK.

But I can't relate with a FAKE.

You can still spend a WEAK NAIRA NOTE, that was MISTAKENLY THROWN into your REFUSE BIN for DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS and YEARS.

But you can't SPEND A FAKE ONE, you can be CAUGHT and ARRESTED.

If you CHECK NIGERIAN PREACHERS very well, ALL GENUINE PASTORS ARE CONNECTED DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY to SOMEONE you think is FAKE.

For example:

PASTOR 1 is GENUINE, so he doesn't relate with PASTOR 2 that he CALLS FAKE, but relates very well with PASTOR 3 that is the FRIEND of PASTOR 2 that is FAKE, according to PASTOR 1.

Then PASTORS 4, 5 and 6 you call FALSE PROPHETS, are the TRUE SONS of PASTOR 1 THAT is very GENUINE.

You can see the CONNECTION and the CONFUSION.

What will you do, if your Father hosts the very Person you consider to be FAKE? Will you ATTEND the MEETING or AVOID the MEETING?

Will you also DISCONNECT from your FATHER because of that?

That is why I tell people submission is by CONVICTION AND NOT BY EXPECTATION.

Expectations will not always be met.

2. WHEN BY THE INSTRUCTION OR BODY LANGUAGE OF YOUR FATHER, YOU COMPLETELY CUT OFF FROM A BROTHER THAT HAD ISSUES WITH YOUR FATHER, AS A MARK OF RESPECT AND HONOUR FOR YOUR FATHER, ONLY TO WAKE UP ONE DAY TO SEE YOUR FATHER AND HIS PRODIGAL SON RELATING AGAIN:

This issue is very serious.

Do you know THE ELDER BROTHER of the PRODIGAL SON DID NOT LOOK FOR HIS YOUNGER BROTHER, as a mark of ALLEGIANCE to his FATHER?.

The same FATHER who ACCEPTED the PRODIGAL SON without first discussing with his ELDER SON.

This matter can TEAR A FAMILY APART because MOST PRODIGAL SONS will come in and don't want to relate with those who joined their FATHER TO AVOID HIM.

My Advice to Fathers:
When people join you to avoid a Son that is DIS-HONOURING you or fighting you, NEVER MAKE PEACE behind them, it will INJURE INNOCENT HEARTS.

In our Ministry, we have some of our Pastors who left, spoke against me and the Church, that has RECONNECTED BACK WITH ME.

The moment it is obvious I want to start relating with them publicly, they MUST COME TO THE CHURCH AND PUBLICLY RECONNECT WITH EVERYONE who joined me in AVOIDING THEM, otherwise, I can't lose people who stood with me because someone who left is trying to return.

The Father of the PRODIGAL SON took TIME TO EXPLAIN to the ELDEST SON, what was happening.

He did not rebuke him for GETTING ANGRY.

His reason for being ANGRY WAS NOT OUT OF PLACE, but that is what happens when you join FATHERS TO AVOID SONS.

And to the ELDER BROTHERS OF THE HOUSE, ALWAYS KNOW THAT ONE DAY, the PRODIGAL SON must COME BACK HOME.

Be VERY WISE in MANAGING THE SITUATION.

There are Fathers in NIGERIA WHO DON'T RELATE because of this matter.

You can trace the reason for their not relating well, to this issue.

And TO YOU WHO CAME BACK, what do you EXPECT SONS TO DO? To join you in FIGHTING AND DIS-HONOURING YOUR FATHER?

IF YOU WERE IN THEIR SHOES YOU WILL ALSO AVOID THEM.

3. WHEN YOU BELIEVE GOD HATES DIVORCE AND YOU HAVE ALSO PREACHED AGAINST IT, ONLY TO WAKE UP AND DISCOVER YOUR SPIRITUAL FATHER HAS GONE THROUGH A DIVORCE:

Not EVERY SON can SURVIVE THIS PHASE.

Pray it doesn't happen to your FATHER, if you are a person WHO HAVE VALUE for ONE MARRIAGE.

I know a PASTOR WHO DIVORCED and most of his SONS LEFT, that a DIVORCEE CANNOT BE THEIR FATHER.

They are not GENUINE SONS.

To a GENUINE SON, it was NOT MARRIAGE I SUBMITTED to but to a MANTLE.

Those WHO DISCONNECTED are not WRONG, and those WHO STAYED ARE NOT also WRONG.

It is always a difficult moment for ALL SONS when their FATHER goes through A DIVORCE.

SOME WOMEN will never stay in that church again.

To them, 'I don't want my HUSBAND TO BE INFLUENCED WRONGLY'.

SONS WHO CAN SURVIVE this difficult moment, are the REAL SONS.
