Praise God for His grace and mercy that has brought us into another year, 2017. All that we witnessed in 2016 only helped to prove God's faithfulness to His promises towards us. May His name be praised forever (Amen).
This year is a year of abundance , if we will walk by God's clear instruction and guidance. Let us not forget that the comforter is here. If we exercise human power and might, we are bound to meet with failure, but if we remove our shoes and surrender to His leadership, then we shall see tremendous result in all our endeavours.
The Lord does not need to make windows in Heavens for His words to come to pass. Let us therefore watch against unbelief, lest we may see His word come to pass but may not partake of its fulfillment. "Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit," says the Lord of hosts.
Our theme this year challenges us to be faithful to God. Because we must give account to Him whether good or bad. Therefore, we should be faithful in all our dealing with God and mankind, especially our leaders. Those who oppose their leaders bring great spiritual harm upon themselves.
The UMCA family identifies and express her condolence to the various families that have lost thier loved ones, my the Lord console the bereaved ones.
Lastly, prayer is that God in His infinite mercies will bless your families and grant you the grace to celebrate Gods goodness in the land of the living in Jesus mighty name. Amen
