*PEACE OF MIND PART 1:*

Peace of mind is very essential to having a stable mental health.

Below are the following ways to having PEACE OF MIND.

1. *DON'T GET ANGRY EASILY:*

The person that angers you becomes your master and you become the slave

Develop a thick skin that people won't easily anger you directing your emotions anyhow

Be predictable by them knowing that no matter what they do, they can't control your anger

2. *SELF CARE:*

Blocking, Muting, Dissociating/Distancing, etc is called self care

Keeping your personal life private and not telling everyone everything even when you have a lot to say is top tier self-care

Make Self care a priority. If you do this your mind will be at peace

3. *READILY FORGIVE:*

Be always ready to Forgive but learn the principle of dissociation in 2 above.

Forgiveness is not synonymous to association. You can forgive and still dissociate.

To keep grudge is to bottle up and to bottle up is to have a troubled mind. AVOID IT!

4. *ACTIVENESS:*

Gym is a good way of being active.

Exercising is a good way of burning off calories and thereby bringing relaxation to the body.

STAY ACTIVE!

5. *VISIT NATURE (EXCURSION):*

Nature has a way of healing people

Through different researches, it has been found that a walk through nature or sitting amidst nature brings the healing of the soul.

No matter how busy you are, create time for excursions. It can be very inspiring.

*MOMENT OF IMPARTATION FEBRUARY 2020 EDITION*

*Worship The King by Pastor Chris Adeboye.*

*Worship must be understood to be a lifestyle and not just what we do in church. Hence, many sing and pray in church but do not worship beyond what they do in church. It should go beyond that even to our private and person altars. We should have altars of worship at home, work etc. Therefore it becomes a lifestyle we daily and frequently live.

*God is spirit. Worship therefore is an interaction/relationship/connection of the spirit beyond the flesh. We can therefore not worship with the flesh or in the flesh, till our flesh is overwhelmed of our spirit and it takes over to fellowship with or touch God (who is also spirit) in worship.

*Worshipping God in truth is preceded by worshipping in spirit. This implied that true worship cannot be achieved if the depth of our spirit is not involved.

*Worship brings us close to God and expose us to his truth so much that we start knowing the depth and secret things of God, because worship takes us to the secret places in God, intimate places in God.

*Worship also makes us relevant in God and to humanity. A man who worships never lose relevance in God. He is always refreshed and stands as an icon before men. Men will always seek after a man of worship to know the mind and secrets of God.

*Worship and service in God goes hand in hand. Infact, service to God is part of worship. You say you're a worshipper and you are deficient in your service to God? Then check the viability of your worship.

*Worship is also a life of sacrifice. Sacrifice in devotion of time and resources and our essence to worshipping God. If he is truly our King and we his subject, then nothing is too big to sacrifice or deny ourselves of in order to achieve the worship of our King.

*Until we lay all at the Altar of Sacrifice we are yet to offer our lives for the worship of God because worship is not done by mouth but by paying the utmost sacrifice.*

*Worship in conclusion can be achieved by a life constantly burning with fire. The Bible says in chapter 6 of Leviticus verses 12&13 that fire must continually burn upon the altar.

*The continuous burning of fire upon an altar signifies the constancy of worship upon it.

*MAY OUR LIVES BE A LIVING SACRIFICE OF CONSTANT WORSHIP TO THE KING IN JESUS NAME.*

WEEKLY INSIGHTS
TOPIC: WHAT DO YOU MAGNIFY?
Mark 4: 35-41
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Message
It is so sad to say that many of us Christians just carry Christianity on our faces without giving cognisant to the power behind what we carry.
In our Bible passage, the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has been with Jesus for quite a long time and had seen His great works and miracles, failed to recognize that with the presence of Jesus in that ship means absolute peace and safety for them. Rather, they were so fearful because of the storm.
Jesus however rose up and rebuked the wind to restore peace and calmness. What a wonderful God we serve.
As Christians, let us stop magnifying our situations and circumstances, let us stop giving attention to the things capable of tampering with our faith and believe, let us stop belittling our dear Saviour by shifting our attentions from Him.
It is high time we look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. It is time to sing the song of a writer who says "Jesus, I fix my gaze on you, everything may change but you remain the same."
Let us always magnify Jesus in all situations and circumstances because He alone can save and deliver us.
Remember what the Bible says

*WEEKLY INSIGHTS*

TOPIC: *THE ACCURATE CONSULTANT 3*

*Jeremiah 6:16*

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. *But they said, We will not walk therein.*

*Message*

The problem of most failures in life is not the absence of an advicer or counselor but that of *willful rebellion and the counselor*. No matter what advice you give them, they are not ready to go with it but only follow their instincts.

You will hear them say *"my instinct tells me to do it this way and I trust my instinct"*.

The creator of instinct knows that out instinct can fail us as humans and that's why He offers to help.

The Children of Israel in our Bible passage was instructed by God to follow a path that will lead them to Peace, but they willingly disobeyed divine instructions. Each time they do, they meet with terrible consequences and unfortunately enough they don't learn from their mistakes.

God is telling us today that we don't need to get our fingers burnt before we know what to do. Let us desist from our own self willed rebellion that can take us no where and learn to lean on God for directions to our place of peace and rest.

Only God knows the best for our lives and that is enough reason for us to hand our totality unto him.

Remember what the scripture says in *Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.*

*Keynote*
Learn to follow divine counsels and instructions and not your own instincts.

Have a week filled with pleasant surprises ahead in Jesus' name. Amen

*WEEKLY INSIGHTS*

TOPIC: *THE ACCURATE CONSULTANT 2*

*Joshua 7:2-6*
And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.
And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.
And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.

*Message*

There are mistakes many people make and that mistake is *"putting the cart before the horse"*. Many people tend to consult God only after the decisions they've made themselves bring them to disappointment.

Whey they see that there is no green light in what they already set out to do, then and only then they turn back to God. Well, this is not bad because God eventually takes the Glory.

But, my point is why do they need to behave like Joshua in the above passage that did not consult God before moving to Ai to fight because he saw it as a small country and would have saved the lives of the *Thirty-six* soldiers that died when none of them died in fighting the mighty Jericho.

There are many people, who consider God as an alternative to the things they do. They've forgotten that the shortest route to *EFFORTLESS PROGRESS* (like the theme for the year) is *GOD*

Brethren, in all our endeavours this year, let us learn to put *God First*.

If you want to record great success with little effort this year, it is by setting your priorities right.

*Give God the priority and everything will fall in place*.

*Key Point*
God is not an alternative route but the only route to progress.

Have a lovely week ahead!

*WEEKLY INSIGHTS*

TOPIC: *THE ACCURATE CONSULTANT*

Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Message:
It is true that God has given until everyone of us the ability to make choice and to a very large extent, this has intoxicated so many people leading them to make decisions that has ruined their own lives and that of their generations yet to be born.

Remember that this same power was given the our Lord Jesus Christ when faced with Calvary but He quickly handed everything over to God by saying "not my will, but let your will be done."

Therefore as wise children of God, even though we've been given that power of making choices, what we should do is to hand over it back to God who is the *accurate consultant* to pilot the wheels of our lives.

We should know that the arm of flesh can fail us, our human calculations are prone to errors, our sight can deceive us but putting our trust in God can never put us to disappointment.

The very first thing God taught me this year is never to take any decision without first asking him in order to avoid *fruitless labour* and *wastes* this year.

The Bible says "In all the ways, acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths."

*Key Point*

Only God can give us accurate consultations, never ever side line Him.
