You know, it all comes down to peer pressure and the desire to fit in with the Joneses. Nobody wants to stand out, right? But when we look at what the Bible teaches, it highlights that we are meant to be different, set apart by the very identity we claim. That’s the reality we face every day.

Yet, as we navigate through life, it seems like everything revolves around the kingdom of self: we lift ourselves up, we celebrate our achievements, we promote our own desires, and we pamper our egos. It’s all about ‘me’ instead of focusing on the Man of Galilee. Just like in the days of Deborah, when people chose new gods for themselves, we see that same trend happening all around us today. Let’s not forget our call to be different!

Walking in the flesh can feel like a heavy burden. Anger, envy, jealousy, bitterness, and unforgiveness create a toxic environment that drains our spirit. But when we shift our focus to living in the Spirit, a remarkable transformation occurs. Suddenly, the joy of the Lord begins to shine through our lives, illuminating even the darkest moments.

Life may not always unfold as we desire, but the joy of the Lord becomes our strength, reminding us that we are on a divine journey, one where challenges and trials simply pave the way to greater things. I know how it feels to walk in the flesh; it’s a path laden with impatience and frustration, and trust me, it's not a road I wish to travel again. It feels like bo***ge, taking away our freedom and joy, and there's truly no greater captivity for a born-again believer than being led by the flesh.

But here’s the good news: God has given us a straightforward path to liberation. By embracing His Word and living in the Spirit, we can rise up as victorious women of faith. Let’s choose joy, peace, and empowerment as we step into the vibrant life God has designed for us!

He is filled with joy about what’s to come because He understands the bigger picture. Trust that He will do whatever it takes to lead you into your true purpose; after all, you didn’t create yourself- He did!
