This means that a thing has been transferred in ownership, location, use or control from one person to another.
It also means ‘out of stock’ not available for another person
To be sold out for Jesus means that the location, ownership, control and use of our life has been transferred to Jesus
The other side of sold out is being bought.
Every child of God must have a sense that we have been bought out with a price.
1 Cor 6:19-20
Being sold out is a matter of obedience to the one who bought you Jesus
Acts 20:28.
1 Cor 7:23 You were bought with a price do not become slaves of men
1 Peter 1:18 ; Romans 14:8
Liberty is not free to do anything you want
2 Cor 5:15 You were completely bought; Jesus did not leave any part of your body behind.
You are no longer to live for yourself is a spiritual law.
Not only did he buy us, He put the seal of ownership upon us Eph 1:13-14
What does he mean to manifest a sold out life.
Manifesting a sold out life is possible by the presence of the Holy Spirit in the heart of a man.
It is by the work of the spirit in a man’s life.
It means to glorify Jesus in every situation and circumstances
A sold out life is a life being characterized by the following
1. A life that follows the plans of Jesus
2. A life that follows the Purpose of Jesus
3. The pursuit of Jesus
4. A life that has the passion of Jesus
5. A life rooted in Jesus
6. A life that follows the protocols and principle of Jesus
7. A life that seeks the preferences of Jesus
8. The pronouncements of Jesus
9. The prohibition of Jesus
10. The power of Jesus
11. The preeminence of Jesus
Why we must live a sold out life.
1. It’s a call and divine expectation in our life
Note: Manifesting the sold of life is the only way to get life right
2. It is the only way to fulfil divine purpose for our life.
3. This is the way God gets to do what He wants to do in the world. This is done through the people who are sold out to Him.
What Do We Do?
1. Get born again
2. Received and commit to the Spirit filled life
3. Settle it into your life that Jesus is your prototype
4. Focus on Jesus
5. Seek out, give attention to men & women who followed Jesus.
Benefits of being sold out
It pleases Him
True Christian hope
It brings into your company of quality of believers
It makes you a helper to the rejected and detected
