What an electrifying atmosphere of Worship and Prayer today!
Hearts were lifted, chains were broken, and the presence of God filled the room like fire! 🔥
As the people pressed in with hunger, the Word came forth with power and healing...

Preacher: Evangelist Ojunde Elijah
Date: May 11th, 2025
Topic: Crushed and Broken; Jesus Christ is the Healer
Main Texts:
Romans 5:8 | Ephesians 2:8–9 | Philippians 1:6 | Psalm 34:18–19

"Sin is the dry, desert distance between you and God…"

Crushed by guilt 😞. Broken by addiction ⛓️. Oppressed and weary from spiritual bo***ge 😔.
But there's healing in Jesus Christ! ✝️

The thief (Satan) comes only to steal, kill, and destroy 🐍.
But Jesus came that we may have life—and have it more abundantly! 🌱 (John 10:10)

1. The Brokenness of Sin
Sin separates us from God ⚠️. It leaves us spiritually crushed, burdened with guilt, depression, and oppression.
But God showed His love ❤️ for us—while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

2. Jesus – Our Healer and Restorer
“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” ✋ (Matthew 11:28–30)
Jesus is calling you out of darkness 🌑, addiction, and confusion.
His yoke is easy and His burden is light! 🌟

He heals the brokenhearted ❤️‍🩹 and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted 💔 and saves those crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

3. The World’s Deception vs. Christ’s Truth
The world offers a fake "good life" 🌍—full of anxiety, chaos, and depression ⚡.
But true peace, true joy, and true life are found only in Jesus ✝️ (John 14:6)

4. Come Back Home!
Even if you've fallen away, the Father's arms are open wide 🤲.
“Today I have set before you life and death... choose life!” (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Stop sitting on the fence ❗—the devil owns the fence!
Enough of hypocrisy 🎭—it's time to shine for Jesus ✨
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5:14)

We follow Christ not out of duty, but out of revelation.
He is not just the way to heaven—He is the only way to live fully now. The gospel isn’t about behavior modification—it’s about transformation.

“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion...” (Philippians 1:6)
Don’t settle for distance—run back to your destiny in Him

Prayer Points:
🙏 Lord, heal my brokenness and restore me.
🙏 I renounce every bo***ge of sin and addiction.
🙏 Help me walk in the light of Your truth.
🙏 Today, I choose LIFE—I choose JESUS!

You’re not too far gone. You’re not too broken. Jesus is still the Healer!
Come, believe, and be made whole.

Preacher: Pastor John Afolayan
📌 Topic: Heritage: Holding On to Our Godly Legacy
📝 Text: Jeremiah 35:1-10

Introduction:

What is Heritage?
Heritage is the treasure left behind after years of labor, sacrifice, and enjoyment — meant to be passed down to bless future generations!
It’s the legacy that parents leave for their children — something precious to preserve, protect, and promote.
✅ It’s not just wealth or land… it can be values, faith, education, and character.

Challenges of Inheriting Heritage:

Receiving an inheritance isn’t always smooth sailing!
⚔️ Challenges often arise — from jealous relatives, envious friends, and even hidden enemies.
That’s why whoever inherits must be:
•Powerful ✊
•Intelligent 🧠
•Careful 🕵️‍♂️
…so they don’t lose the blessings they’ve received.

Proverbs 4:7 says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

Who Should Inherit?

It is the biological and legitimate offspring who rightfully inherit a man’s estate (Numbers 27:8-11).
But in truth, everyone inherits something — whether good or bad.
Some inherit wealth, some inherit faith, while others may sadly inherit struggles and pain.

Your inheritance can give you a solid headstart in life!
But the absence of a good inheritance can force a person to start from scratch — struggling, hustling, and suffering needlessly.

Today’s Reality:

Once upon a time, families measured success by practical skills like farming, blacksmithing, or weaving.
Back then, a vocation and education were seen almost as the same thing: “just make money!”

But today, we know better!
Education is one of the greatest inheritances a parent can give a child.
Sadly, many skillful but uneducated people miss out on opportunities simply because they lack the knowledge to climb higher in their fields.
(Hosea 4:6 - “My people perish for lack of knowledge…”)

✅ A good inheritance scrapes off or at least reduces the struggles a child would otherwise go through.
✅ A good inheritance opens doors that would have stayed shut!

The Heritage of Our Ministry - CAC:

Here in Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), God has blessed us with some powerful spiritual inheritances handed down across generations!
But sadly, many today are losing these treasures.
1. The Spirit of Prayer
Our forefathers were prayer warriors!
They could pray down fire, rain, and revival!
But today’s generation? Distracted by gadgets, social media, and worldly peer pressure.
Luke 18:1 - “Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
2. The Heart of Forgiveness
In those days, believers would forgive instantly, no matter the hurt.
But today?
Children of God harbor malice, nurture grudges, and spread hate over small, petty issues!
Matthew 6:14 - “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”

Example to Follow:

Let’s learn from the children of Rechab (Jeremiah 35).
Despite the pressures around them, they stood firm and upheld their father’s instructions — refusing to drink wine or live carelessly, even when commanded by outsiders!

God honored them for their obedience!

✅ Can God count on you to uphold your godly heritage?
✅ Will you stand for truth, righteousness, and holiness even when society mocks you?

Conclusion and Prayer:

Beloved, heritage is not just what you receive; it’s what you preserve!
Don’t be the generation that squanders what was painfully built by others.

Let us pray:
“Lord, grant us wisdom, grant us understanding, grant us the fear of God — that we may keep and pass down the godly heritage entrusted into our hands. Amen!”
(Proverbs 9:10 - “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom…”)

May we all leave a godly legacy behind, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

PREACHER: EVANGELIST ELIJAH
INTERPRETER: SIS. TOSIN
TOPIC: VICTORY THROUGH THE RESURRECTION & TRANSFORMING POWER OF THE CROSS
TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 15:57 - “BUT THANKS BE TO GOD HE GIVES US THE VICTORY THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY!
HE IS RISEN! HALLELUJAH!
Today we celebrate the victory that has changed the course of history — the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Because He lives, we too can live, rise, and triumph. 🙌
Shout to the Lord with a voice of victory!
Glory to God in the highest! ✨

1. WE FIGHT FROM VICTORY, NOT FOR VICTORY
The battle is already won! When Jesus rose from the dead, He conquered sin, death, and the grave! ⚔️
We are no longer fighting for victory; we are fighting from victory!
Romans 8:37 reminds us: “In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Because of the resurrection, we stand in Christ’s victory every day!
You are not fighting for a win; you are living in the win that Jesus already secured. 🏆

2. WHAT IS TRANSFORMATION?
Transformation is not just about self-improvement — it’s about becoming a completely new creation in Christ!

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 says, “THEREFORE, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, THE NEW CREATION HAS COME: THE OLD HAS GONE, THE NEW IS HERE!”
When you are transformed by Christ, you are radically changed in your heart, mind, and spirit.
It’s like the caterpillar turning into a butterfly: from crawling in sin to soaring in His grace! 🐛➡️🦋
When you are transformed by Jesus, your past is no longer your identity. You are a new creation! 🌟

3. WHAT IS RESURRECTION?
Resurrection means more than just coming back to life — it’s a triumph over death!
IN JOHN 11:25, JESUS SAYS, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN ME WILL LIVE, EVEN THOUGH THEY DIE.”

The resurrection is the divine power to bring dead things back to life — relationships, dreams, hope, purpose. 💫
Just as Jesus called Lazarus from the grave in JOHN 11:43–44, He is calling you today: “COME FORTH!” 🌸
What in your life needs the touch of His resurrection power today? Is it your joy? Your peace? Your broken heart? Jesus can resurrect it all! 🙏

4. WHAT IS VICTORY?
Victory is not just surviving a storm — it’s thriving in the midst of it! 🌪️➡️🌞
Victory is the triumph of God’s love and power over every trial you face.

ROMANS 8:31 DECLARES, “WHAT, THEN, SHALL WE SAY IN RESPONSE TO THESE THINGS? IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?”

Victory doesn’t mean the absence of battle; it means God is with you through it all. 🙌
Jesus didn’t just survive the cross; He triumphed over it, and now, He shares that victory with you! ✝️
You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus!

5. TRANSFORMATION + RESURRECTION = VICTORY
When the transforming power of the cross meets the resurrection power of Jesus, the result is victory.
EPHESIANS 2:6 SAYS, “AND GOD RAISED US UP WITH CHRIST AND SEATED US WITH HIM IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS IN CHRIST JESUS.”
Through His resurrection, Jesus elevates you to a position of victory, power, and authority. 👑
You are no longer a victim of your circumstances — you are a victor in Christ!
Declare this today: I am victorious because of Jesus’ resurrection power! ✨

CLOSING STORY
A man who had spent years in a life of crime and despair encountered Jesus in prison. His life was full of sin and hopelessness, but after giving his life to Christ, everything changed. 🌅
He became a new creation — no longer defined by his past, but by Christ’s resurrection power.
Today, he is not in prison; he is a preacher, sharing the very gospel that saved him.
That’s transformation, resurrection, and victory in action! 🌟

CALL TO ACTION
This Easter, allow the resurrection power of Jesus to transform your life. Let Him bring dead things back to life in you.
Will you accept the victory He offers today?
Pray with me:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross. Thank You for Your resurrection power. I invite You into my life to transform me, to resurrect my hopes, and to give me victory in every area. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” 🙏

CLOSING PRAISE
Hallelujah! He is risen, and so am I!
We have victory in Jesus’ name 🙏
Celebrate His power, His victory, and His love today! 🎉
Happy Easter, everyone! ☦️

Sermon Title: The Revelation of Open Doors to the Believers
Preacher: 📣 Evangelist Ojunde Elijah
Text: Revelation 3:7-8

🔹 I. Understanding the Concept of Open Doors
> Revelation 3:7-8 – “See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

A. Definition and Symbolism of Open Doors
- Open doors symbolize divine opportunities granted by God.
- They represent access to new levels of favor, breakthrough, success, and spiritual advancement.
- Unlike human-made doors, God's open doors are immune to opposition—no man can shut them.

B. God as the Door Opener
- The authority to open and shut doors belongs to Christ (Rev. 3:7).
- His decisions override human resistance, limitations, or social barriers.

🔹 II. The Nature of Divine Opportunities
A. They Are Inclusive
- God’s open doors are not limited by age, gender, race, education, or family background.
- Biblical examples include Joseph, Esther, Ruth, and David—all elevated despite their limitations.

B. They Are Timely
- These doors come according to divine timing.
- They require discernment and readiness to walk through them.

🔹 III. The Impact of the Modern World on Open Doors
A. Wider Reach Through Social Media & Technology
- The internet and digital platforms are modern open doors for ministry, business, education, and influence.
- Believers should embrace innovation while remaining rooted in godly principles.

B. Morality & Purpose Must Guide Action
- Pursue opportunities that are morally sound and spiritually aligned.
- Not all open doors are from God—some are distractions; that’s why discernment is key.

🔹 IV. Moving from Revelation to Fulfillment
A. The Time for Action is Now
- Believers have made enough declarations, resolutions, and affirmations.
- Now is the time for intentional, strategic action.

B. Be Strategic and Purposeful
- Like Nehemiah building the wall, we must plan wisely and work diligently.
- Think creatively, but remain within the boundaries of God’s word.

🔹 V. The God Factor in Open Doors
A. Divine Direction is Essential
- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
- Inquire prayerfully: What should I do? How should I do it?

B. Divine Speed and Restoration
> Joel 2:25-26 – “I will restore the years the locusts have eaten...”
- God can accelerate your journey, making up for lost time and resources.
- When purpose aligns with God’s plan, provision will follow naturally.

🔹 VI. Practical Takeaways for Believers
- Start now, even if you feel unprepared.
- Stop waiting for perfect conditions—obedience unlocks provision.
- Be sensitive to God’s leading and act with boldness and faith.
- Use every God-given platform—be it digital or physical—to fulfill your divine assignment.

✨ Closing Exhortation:
God has opened a door before you—walk through it with faith, focus, and purpose. Let nothing—fear, people, or lack—stop you. You have the grace, now take the step.

*5 Things That God Hates*
*Preacher:* Pastor John Afolayan
*Text:* *Proverbs 17:13 (AMP), Genesis 4:3-5 (AMP)*

*Introduction*
One of the greatest challenges many Christians face today is allowing things that God hates to exist in their lives. When we engage in or entertain these things, we create openings for the enemy to manipulate our lives, bringing darkness, spiritual wickedness, and destruction (*Ephesians 4:27*).

God sometimes asks us to give back to Him, even though He is the one who originally provided for us (*Genesis 4:3-5*). Sadly, many believers refuse, forgetting that *God is never in need, nor is He lacking anything* (*Psalm 50:10-12*). Those who do give often do so with a *wrong attitude*, much like Cain, whose offering was rejected because of his *heart condition* rather than the material gift itself.

Cain’s response to this rejection was *hatred and jealousy toward his brother Abel*, even while standing in the presence of God. This same attitude is present in many believers today—coming to church with *grudges, envy, and bitterness*, yet outwardly engaging in worship (*Matthew 5:23-24*). The result is a divided church, where unity is lost because of hidden sins in the hearts of members.

Cain’s story teaches us that *unrepented sin leads to greater destruction*. God warned him in *Genesis 4:7*, saying:

*"If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at your door; its desire is for you, but you must rule over it."*

Cain ignored God's warning, and his actions led to even greater consequences—not just for himself but also for his land. This demonstrates that *sin, when unchecked, affects not just us but those around us* (*Romans 6:23*).

*5 Things That God Hates*

1️⃣ *Repaying Good with Evil*
📖 *"Whoever rewards evil for good, evil will not depart from his house."* — Proverbs 17:13 (AMP)

God detests when people repay good with evil. This sin leads to generational consequences, as seen in the life of Judas Iscariot. Despite Jesus choosing him as a disciple, entrusting him with responsibility, and showing him love, Judas *betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver*(*Matthew 26:14-16*).

The outcome? Judas faced *a tragic end*—remorse without true repentance, leading to his su***de (*Matthew 27:3-5*).

🛑 *Lesson:* Anyone who repays good with evil invites *God’s judgment* and trouble into their life.

2️⃣ *The Act of Destruction (Gossip, Backbiting, and Slandering Others)*
📖 *"Woe to you who deal treacherously, though you have not been dealt with treacherously; when you cease dealing treacherously, others will deal treacherously with you."* — Isaiah 33:1 (AMP)

God hates actions that destroy others—whether through gossip, false accusations, or plotting harm. **The devil is the accuser of the brethren** (*Revelation 12:10*), so when people engage in backbiting, they unknowingly partner with Satan’s agenda.

🛑 *Lesson:* Those who seek to destroy others *set themselves up for their own downfall* (*Proverbs 26:27*).

3️⃣ *Serving God Without Joy*
📖 *"Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and with a glad heart, for the abundance of everything, therefore you will serve your enemies..."* — Deuteronomy 28:47-48 (AMP)

God hates it when people serve Him with a grudging heart. Many believers today go through religious motions without genuine love or joy. Their service is more *of a burden than an act of worship*.

🛑 *Lesson:* Joyful service is key to receiving *God’s favor* and *lasting rewards*(*Psalm 100:2*).

4️⃣ *Covering Sin Instead of Confessing It*
📖 *"He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will find compassion."* — Proverbs 28:13 (AMP)

God desires transparency and repentance, not hypocrisy. When people *hide sin instead of confessing it*, they block their own blessings and remain in bo***ge.

🛑 *Lesson:* Confessing sin *brings mercy*, but hiding sin *leads to destruction* (*1 John 1:9*).

*5️⃣ Hating God and His Divinity*
📖 *"If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha [O Lord, come!]”* — 1 Corinthians 16:22 (AMP)

God hates when people *reject Him, despise His ways, or mock His existence*. The world is increasingly filled with people who *deny God's authority* and *oppose everything related to Him*.

🛑 *Lesson:* Those who reject God’s love and authority face *eternal separation from Him* (*John 3:36*).

*Conclusion*
Every believer must *examine their life* and ask: *Are any of these things present in me?*

✅ If so, repent and seek God’s mercy.
✅ Do not allow sin to linger; it only grows and leads to destruction (James 1:15).
✅ Live in obedience and holiness, pleasing God in all things (Romans 12:1-2).

🙏 May God help us to avoid these things and walk in His righteousness!
