The Prophet (SAW) serves as the Bringer of Glad Tidings and a Warner, guiding humanity toward Allah’s path as an "illuminating lamp" (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:45-46). Our first duty is to love him above all others—second only to Allah—while maintaining a balance that avoids extremism (Guluw), ensuring we honor him as Allah's servant and Messenger without crossing into transgression.

True devotion is manifested through obedience and the rejection of innovations (Bid’ah). To love the Prophet (SAW) is to strictly follow his Sunnah; as the Qur’an notes, following him is the prerequisite for receiving Allah’s love and forgiveness (Surah Al-Imran, 3:31). By treading his path faithfully, we preserve the integrity of the religion he delivered.

Finally, we must cultivate a deep connection by studying his biography (Seerah) to truly know his character and "excellent example" (Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:21). This knowledge is our best tool for defending his honor against any assaults or misconceptions. Through continuous learning, we become capable advocates of his message and his noble legacy.
