“For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;” I Cor. 12:8-9 (KJV)

Faith has another dimension, which is known as the gift of Faith.

This is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit as listed in the scripture. Our text explains the diversities of spiritual endowment given by the spirit of God to the believers to profit withal.

These gifts of the spirit are profitable manifestation of the sons of God (I Cor. 12:1, 7-9).

The gift of faith is one of the power gift of the spirits, just like any other gift of the spirit. It is an endowment that is given to exercise a very rare quality of faith that normally you would not attempt on a good day so to speak.

When you are confronted by a very troublesome matter that seems to defy all attempt at solution, it is just too obvious that you are at the most difficult point with very clear pointers that this is an impossible case before you, at that time the Holy Spirit can fire the gift of faith into your heart on the matter.

The gift of Faith is given to you by the spirit to rubbish impossibilities before you as a son of God. This faith makes you seem foolish before ordinary things beyond their heads.

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Cor. 4:13 (KJV)📖

The operation of the spirit of Faith is another dimension of Faith in the school of Faith, if you are ever going to manifest your authority. 💯

The spirit of Faith is explained in the scripture above. In this dimension of faith, the spirit is involved directly. There is the spirit of Faith that comes upon you as an anointing and empowerment to birth faith on the inside

The spirit of God came upon young David after he was anointed with oil. David is before a giant warrior, who was challenging the armies of the living God. At a very point, David’s spirit began to boil. The anointing, that spirit of Faith started to manifest from him and that how he was able to defeat Goliat. (I Sam 16:13-26)🍷

When the spirit of faith begins to boil inside of you, it does not matter how big the giant, you would find yourself operating under a superior influence to “Believe and therefore speak”. 😲

Child of God, when the spirit of faith is influencing your life and you allow him to reach the boiling point inside your spirit, at that instance, any Goliat that stands on your path is on a su***de mission. Little did Goliat know that the spirit of Faith was upon the shepherd boy called David.

“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;” Rom. 10:8 (KJV)

💐Faith is the lifestyle of the sons of God, there is no order means of by which we live the life of son-ship manifestation. A good understanding of Faith and how it works will deliver into your hand the blessings of walking and living the life of the supernatural (Heb. 11:6)

The first introduction we are given to the walk of faith is the confessional Faith.

It is the saving faith bestowed on us by grace to respond practically to the gospel but then it is only the beginning. At the salvation experience, this faith operate essentially on the confessional level. (Rom 10:8-10)

Even beyond the salvation experience, this faith engagement will require that you have to perpetually confess until the word of God is bigger on your inside than the challenges on the outside. This confessional faith will gradually and steadily grow until your spirit is strengthened with spiritual weight

Then at some point, the weight of your word-fed spirit will crush the opposite challenges on the outside. The problem will then come crashing down and you have your testimony appearing or manifesting before

*It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit,and they are life.* JOHN 6:63(KJV)

📖 Our Bible verse highlights one of the things that defines the world's pervasive nature. Over the past few days, we have been considering the series LOVE NOT THE WORLD.

One of the things in the world is the lust of the flesh.The word lust implies an insatiable sinful urge and desire for something. Specifically, it means having hot desires for things in a manner that is contrary to the will of God.

🤔After the fall of man, the flesh became one of the forces that fights against man and against his desire to do the will of God *(Matthew 26:41).*

Consequently, the flesh is human frailty and susceptibility to sin which created the distance gap between man and God.There is,
therefore, always a warring between the Spirit and the flesh *(Galatians 5:7).*

As Christians, we need to be aware that our lives subsequent to salvation are progressive. Meanwhile, the old man nature will keep on battling with our new identity in Christ *(Romans 7:23).*

For that reason, we should not live our lives by the desires of the flesh; rather, we should focus on the Holy Spirit for sustenance and the fullness of God *(Ephesians 3:23).*

*Action point* 👉🏻:Ultimately, Jesus is sufficient for us.

‎"Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven." Prov. 23:5(KJV)

‎We began our study on how we can hate the world and it corrupt practices. And it was stated that the love of the world as clarified in the epistle of John, are
♦️lust of the eyes,
♦️‎lust of the flesh &
‎♦️ pride of life.
‎
‎ Therefore, love the world is to position oneself as an enemy of God. *James 4:4* , provides that friendship with the world, is deemed hostility (enmity) towards God.
‎
‎Each of the things in the world, lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and pride of life has it own connotation and what they stand for in our study today we will be considering Lust of the eyes.
‎
✍️‎At it's core, lust of the eyes is that sinful desire to possess what we see or to have those things which have visual appeal. This desire is not from God, but from the world around us. John emphasizes that these physical things do not last; they will pass away. In contrast, a Christian is guaranteed eternity
‎
‎Satan uses the lust of the eyes as one avenue of temptation. Part of the reason Eve listened to the serpent in the Garden was that she looked at the forbidden fruit and saw that it was “pleasing to the eye” *(Genesis 3:6).*
‎
‎ Satan used a visual image to help entrap her. Satan tried a similar tactic on Jesus. One of his temptations in the wilderness was an attempt to make Jesus covet earthly power. Satan used a visual: he “showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor” *(Matthew 4:8).* He then promised to give them to Jesus—for a price. Of course, Jesus did not succumb to the lust of the eyes, and Satan was defeated (verses 10 and 11).

‎All that glitters is not gold, and as christian we need to know that fame, fortune, and finery quickly fade they are transient; remaining only for a brief time. (Proverbs 23:5).

Therefore our goal is not to surround ourselves with the trappings of glittering magnificent but rather, to know Christ. Philippians 3:10

*‎ That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death*
‎
‎Thus our eyes must be set on Jesus and not to be distracted by the waves of the glittering magnificent of life, else we will sink in the storms of life. Matthew 14:30
‎
‎May God give us the grace to be focused on him.
‎
