πŸ“ŒSilence: The channel to hearing from God
Text: 1 Sam 3:8-10, Psalm 46:9-10
Delivered by Pastor Adeboyejo.

A sheep understands the voice of its shepherd because it knows him. In a world disturbed with anxiety, worry, notifications and noises, are we still able to hear God? Are you conscious of understanding when He speaks? God still speaks to us today. Is your mind quiet enough to hear Him?
The problem is not God speaking, the problem is your inability to discern when He is speaking.

Silence is never a sign of weakness or foolishness. In silence, knowledge increases, you gain life, you are guided and protected and your future is secure.

*FACTS TO KNOW ABOUT SILENCE*
- It is not just abstaining from noises/ sounds but a deliberate effort to hear from God.
- You can never have a clear mind amongst noise.

*HOW DID GOD COMMUNICATE TO PEOPLE IN THE SCRIPTURES?*
1. Through the scriptures. (John 1:1)
2. Through the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:16)
3. Seeking counsel. ( Proverbs 11:14)
4. Prophecy (Acts 2:17)
5. Circumstances/ incidences. (Romans 8:28)
6. Through Silence (Psalm 46:10)

TRAITS OF PEOPLE WITH THIS ABILITY
- They are unique in action and mindset

2. Strength
3. Discernment (Luke 15:17)
