1. سَكَنَ الشَّيْخُ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ فِي الْخُلُودِ *** وَبَقِيَ ذِكْرُهُ نُورًا بِلَا حُدُودِ

2. أَحْيَا مَوْلِدَ النَّبِيِّ بِحُبٍّ صَادِقٍ *** فَانْتَشَرَتْ أَنْوَارُهُ فِي كُلِّ وُجُودِ

3. عُلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْهُ دِينًا وَهُدًى *** فَكَانَ عِلْمُهُ بَاقِيًا كَالصَّعُودِ

4. جَمَعَ الْقُلُوبَ عَلَى ذِكْرِ الْمُصْطَفَى *** وَرَسَمَ فِي الْأرْوَاحِ أَثَرًا جَمِيلًا وَمَجِيدِ

5. إِنْ مَاتَ جِسْمُهُ فَالذِّكْرُ حَيٌّ سَاطِعٌ *** كَالشَّمْسِ تَجْلُو كُلَّ دَرْبٍ بَعِيدِ

6. قَدْ قَالَ رَبِّي: "سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الْوُدَّ" *** وَوُدُّهُ بَاقٍ فِي الْقُلُوبِ الشُّهُودِ

7. فَأَعْمَالُهُ صَدَقَاتٌ جَارِيَةٌ *** تَجْرِي كَنَهْرٍ فِي الْحَيَاةِ يَزِيدِ

8. يَا رَبَّنَا ارْفَعْهُ فِي جَنَّاتِكَ *** مَعَ النَّبِيِّ وَالصَّحْبِ وَالْمَقَامِ السَّعِيدِ

9. وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا أَنْ نَسِيرَ فِي آثَارِهِ *** نُحْيِي طُرُقَ الْحَقِّ بِالْعَزْمِ الشَّدِيدِ

10. سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَبْدَ الرَّزَّاقِ *** ذِكْرُكَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَفِي الْخُلْدِ جَلِيلِ
✦ English Translation ✦

1. Sheikh Abdulrazaq has moved to eternity, *** yet his memory remains a boundless light.

2. He revived the Prophet’s Mawlid with sincere love, *** and its radiance spread through every being.

3. He taught people their religion and guidance, *** so his knowledge endures like a rising flame.

4. He gathered hearts upon the remembrance of al-Muṣṭafā, *** engraving beauty and glory in souls.

5. Though his body has departed, his remembrance lives, *** like the sun that brightens every distant path.

6. For my Lord has said: “The Most Merciful will appoint them love,” *** and indeed his love endures in hearts that witness.

7. His deeds are ongoing charities, *** flowing like a river that only increases in life.

8. O our Lord, raise him in Your Gardens, *** with the Prophet, his Companions, and the blessed station.

9. And write for us to follow in his footsteps, *** reviving the paths of truth with firm resolve.

10. Peace be upon you, O Abdulrazaq, *** your remembrance on earth and in eternity is noble. (Kabir)

*A Personality Whose Light Outlives Him: Sheikh Abdulrazaq*

Sheikh Abdulrazaq departed this world in 2015, yet his annual Mawlid an-Nabiyy programme continues to thrive, drawing multitudes from far and near. This enduring tradition is not merely a gathering, but a reflection of the kind of life he lived—rooted in sincerity, knowledge, and devotion to the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ.

1. A Lasting Spiritual Legacy

The continuation of his programme shows that his influence transcended his physical presence. Allah reminds us in the Qur’ān:

> وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا
“And We granted them an honorable mention among later generations.” (Qur’ān 19:50)

Just as Allah granted righteous servants a good name among later people, Sheikh Abdulrazaq’s remembrance is preserved through the lives he touched and the gatherings that still uphold his mission.

2. A Community Builder

The strength of his vision was not in isolation but in the structures he built. His followers and admirers feel compelled to carry on his work, a testament to how deeply he rooted his programme in the community’s heart. This echoes the Prophet’s ﷺ saying:

> إِذَا مَاتَ الإِنسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ، أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ، أَوْ وَلَدٍ صَالِحٍ يَدْعُو لَهُ
“When a human being dies, all his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, 1631)

Through his teachings and programmes, Sheikh Abdulrazaq left behind both beneficial knowledge and ongoing charity, which continue to enrich souls and draw people nearer to Allah.

3. Sincerity and Divine Acceptance

The fact that his efforts outlived him is a sign of sincerity (ikhlāṣ) and divine acceptance (qabūl). Allah says:

> إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وُدًّۭا

مَوْلَانَا الشَّيْخُ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ

يَا شَيْخَ عَبْدَ الرَّزَّاقِ يَا بَدْرَ الْهُدَى
يَا مَنْ سَمَا بِالْعِلْمِ سَطْعًا فِي الْعُلَا

مُتَوَاضِعٌ بِالْحِلْمِ زَانَتْ خُطَاهُ
وَالنَّاسُ تَشْهَدُ فَضْلَهُ إِذْ عَدَلا

إِنْسَانِيُّ الْقَلْبِ بِالْخَيْرِ انْبَرَى
يُعِينُ مَلْهُوفًا وَيَمْسَحُ أَدْمُعَا

مُؤَسِّسُ (تِيَان) يَا إِمَامَ التُّقَى
وَزَوَايَاكَ قَدْ سَرَتْ فِي الْأَرْضِ سَنَا

قُدْوَتُهُ قُرْآنُ رَبِّي وَسُنَّةٌ
بِهَا اسْتَقَامَ وَزَادَ فِينَا تَقْوَى

مُعَلِّمٌ مُرْشِدٌ وَمُرَبٍّ حَكِيمٌ
لِأَتْبَاعِهِ أَضْحَى أَبًا مُشْبِعَا

أَنْفَقَ مِنْ مَالِهِ لِآلِ نِيَاسِ
طَلَبًا لِرِضَاهُمْ وَوَجْهِ اللَّهِ سَعَى

لَهُ تَلَامِيذٌ وَأَحْبَابٌ وُلَاةٌ
فِي كُلِّ أَرْضٍ نَشَرُوا الْعِلْمَ ضِيَا

يَا رَبُّ صَلِّ عَلَى خَيْرِ الْوَرَى
وَاحْفَظْ لَنَا شَيْخَنَا فِي كُلِّ مَدَى
