These God’s Generals walked in supernatural power, driven by an unshakable hunger for God’s presence. RAW FAITH SERIES: PAPA W.F KUMUYI, MY SECRET

Many years ago after I was saved, I wanted to preach to people. I didn't understand what it will take.

God showed me a revelation, I saw multitudes of people.

In that revelation, I was wearing my best clothe. At that time, we call the shirt "Double two".

I saw myself addressing crowds. I didn't understand so I went on to live my christain life.
Reading my bible and praying to be a good Christain.

All of a sudden, there were many other christian activities I concentrated on and I was glued to them and nothing could take them from me.

But all of a sudden, I saw that all the activities I was into, they were not reaching any soul. I enjoyed them, but they didn't make me profitable to the kingdom.

So all of a sudden, I found myself praying to God saying " Oh Lord, I abandon all this good things that are not productive. "

I then concentrated on prayers and some models of the evangelistic outreach.
I had studied mathematics at the university, and I know how I studied to make a first class in mathematics in my first degree.

So I came across one book, healing the sick by TL Osborn and I took that book as if I was in the mathematics class. I read and studied it, I marked it.

If you see that first copy now of healing the sick by TL Osborn, it's almost torn apart. But after some years, I got a new copy and I studied and I read.

After some years I got another copy and then. But I have not started evangelizing or praying for the sick. Then, some of the bible study members of our Bible study then, they would see me, at the university because I was still lecturing.

They say Good morning sir, I say how did you know me. They say, I came to the bible study and I was very sick and while you were preaching, just teaching bible study, I got healed. I said what 😯. Tell me the truth...

Another time, someone came to the Sunday service and I was praying and then I heard myself saying what I didn't plan to say. I say "That woman there with the Evil Spirit, I command you spirit come out of there". And the Lord opened the eyes of the woman, she had been having demonic spirit controlling her life for 18years.

And the Lord opened her eyes, and the spirit came out. But when it came out, it stayed in one place. I didn't see anything, and I didn't plan to say what I was saying...

I said," Evil Spirit, keep on moving don't stay there. I said go out of that place. The members of the church were wondering, what is he saying ".

But the Lord opened the eyes of the woman and that spirit kept on moving until it went out, and I said "Don't come back here".

And then, we were to have the first stadium crusade in Lagos. Just two cassette of Morris Cerullo.

For weeks before that crusade, I would listen to this two messages of Morris Cerullo.

I listened in the day and in the night, I put the message and while am sleeping it's still playing. I saturated mind, my Spirit with those two messages.

Then, the day came, we were at the crusade. Remember, all I heard within me was the message I had heard.

The only way I can teach is on the message I heard. So we got there, we prayed, I made a altar call, the people responded, I was now to pray for the sick in a way I had never, never done.

While we were praying, we had not said the final Amen, I was still praying and praying saying " Oh Lord, heal the sick".

At the middle of the prayer, a woman, a mother bagan to shout, what happened? Her son, a boy didn't have any bone in one leg, only a flesh...and he had one good leg and one flesh rubber leg.

He will use one stick and whine it around that stick. In the middle of the prayer, he threw away the stick, GOD CREATED BONE in that leg.

I was still praying, and the boy began to run and to jump with both legs with bones.

When we finished prayers, that woman jumped, she cried with laughter, she danced and did everything to say God is mighty.

I tell you my story so that that story will be reproduced in your life. Don't think you cannot, you can...you will....!!!

Your own day have started today, today...we are not going to preach and talk much.

Take all this messages you have heard like I chewed the book of TL OSBORN and the messages, cassette of Morris Cerullo and I listened many times ..that all that was said in those messages were transferred in my heart.

This ministering messages, professional messages.

Don't worry if you get anything in your mind in them or not, just listen. Because our Children when they are born, we don't send them to school when they are one month old.

They stay with Papa and Mama.
Papa and Mama are talking together but the baby is listening. He cannot say what they are saying or construct it but the child gives in listening to Papa and Mama.

Before the child goes to school, he's already speaking the language fluently because he's been listening continuously.

Listen and you will learn.

Today, a new day is dawn on you. What you find impossible will be made possible.

Spend your time more for God.

Holiness first.

Those generals were people of close fellowship with Holy Spirit.

They are too hungry for God,not to focus on the junks and fashions of this world.

Don't struggle to pray for long or feel intimidated by people praying long hours.
Start small,be consistent and let the Holy Spirit create that hunger in you .

Hunger will cause you to stay long in place of prayer not your struggling.

Ask God for hunger and seek him alone in holiness.

Revival

‘For ten or eleven years I have prayed for revival. I could sit up all night to read or talk about revivals... It was the Spirit that moved me to think about a revival’

Evan Roberts, a young miner who became a blacksmith, had attended church on Sundays, prayer meetings on Mondays, youth meeting on Tuesdays, congregational meetings on Wednesday, temperance meetings on Thursdays, and class meetings on Fridays.
Saturday night was a free night with no meetings.

Before entering the Academy to prepare for the ministry, he had a prophetic vision of all Wales being lifted up to heaven.

After his first year at a Bible school, he returned home and shared some of the things the Spirit put on his heart:
1. You must put away any unconfessed sin.
2. You must put away any doubtful habit.
3. You must obey the Spirit promptly.
4. You must confess Christ publicly.

Geoff Waugh, a researcher on Revival, noted that, “Evan Roberts travelled the Welsh valleys, often never preaching but sitting head-in-hands earnestly praying. In Neath he spent a week in prayer without leaving his rooms. The revival packed the churches out, but no one saw him all that week. He paid a price in prayer and tears. Churches filled. The revival spread. Meetings continued all day as well as each night, often late into the night or through to morning. Crowds were getting right with God and with one another in confession, repentance and restitution of wrongs done. People prayed fervently and worshipped God with great joy.”
