Public Announcement!!!
We, the family of Sheikh Imam Ali Jabata, jointly dissociate ourselves from the extremist ideology of Muhammad Awwal Ali Jabata, who for years has propagated far-right ideology that bullies, defames, and castigates others, and even many times disturbs the peaceful conscience of the public.
While we have individually aired our disagreement with such methods of propagation over a few decades, and have collectively deployed several levels of conflict resolution as a family to salvage and rehabilitate him through all means available, Muhammad Awwal has consistently shown himself to be adamant on a path that threatens peaceful coexistence among Muslims, Kwarans, and Nigeria at large.
It has therefore become necessary to inform the general public about the imminent threats he poses, including his associates and all parties that share or fund such ideology solely targeted at causing disarray.
As a family rooted in orderliness, we have also decided to legally pursue the recovery of all our properties in the care of Muhammad Awwal going forward.
Our dear beloved father, Sheikh Imam Ali Abubakar Jabata, was a nobleman and a man who lived all his life with dignity. He was devoted and just to his Lord, and vehemently propagated knowledge as a classroom teacher in Kwara State, as the Imam of Oyun Central Mosque, and even as the first leader of the Tijaniyyah in Kwara State. If he were alive, he would have stood firmly on the path that upholds fairness and justice for all.
