Additionally, the behavior of some religious leaders on social media can be concerning, as it often diverts attention from the positive teachings of Islam. This article explores the negative influence of social media on kids and emphasizes the importance of religious leaders in promoting unity and beneficial content.

Negative Influence of Social Media on Kids:

1. Unrealistic Standards: Social media platforms often showcase an idealized version of life, leading children to compare themselves and feel inadequate.
2. Cyber bullying: Online platforms can become breeding grounds for bullying, causing emotional distress and impacting mental health.
3. Exposure to Inappropriate Content: Kids may come across age-inappropriate content, such as violence, explicit material, or harmful ideologies.
4. Addiction and Screen Time: Excessive use of social media can lead to addiction and negatively impact physical and mental well-being.
5. Lack of Face-to-Face Interaction: Spending too much time on social media can hinder the development of essential social skills and personal connections.

Religious Leaders:
Religious leaders play a pivotal role in shaping the moral compass of our youth. By actively engaging with social media, they can spread positive messages, debunk misconceptions, and promote unity among the ummah. It is essential for religious leaders to address the challenges posed by social media and provide guidance on navigating its potential pitfalls

What should be the Role of Religious Leaders:

2. Promoting Unity: Instead of engaging in online conflicts, religious leaders should focus on fostering unity, tolerance, and understanding among their followers.
3. Addressing Relevant Issues: Religious leaders can use social media to address contemporary challenges faced by the youth and offer guidance based on Islamic principles.
4. Encouraging Responsible Digital Citizenship: Religious leaders can educate children and parents about the responsible use of social media, emphasizing the importance of ethical behavior online.
5. Collaborating for Positive Change: By collaborating with other religious leaders and organizations, they can create a collective impact in addressing the negative influence of social media.

Fight with the Negative influence of Social Media

To combat the negative influence of social media, we must encourage our children to strike a balance between their online presence and the teachings of Islam. This involves fostering critical thinking skills, promoting digital literacy, and instilling a strong foundation in Islamic values. By equipping our youth with the necessary tools, they can become responsible digital citizens who use social media as a platform for positive change.

Impact of Community influence
Moreover, as a community, we need to create safe spaces for open dialogue about the challenges and opportunities presented by social media. By organizing workshops, seminars, and discussions, we can educate both parents and children about the potential risks and benefits of social media, empowering them to make informed decisions.

As parents and members of the community, it is crucial to be aware of the negative impact of social media on our children. Simultaneously, we must encourage religious leaders to use social media responsibly and prioritize spreading positive messages that align with the teachings of Islam.

My warmest greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah on this blessed occasion of Maulud Nabiyy. May the celebration of the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) bring you abundant blessings, joy, and peace.

On this sacred day, we are unite in honor the life and teachings of the Prophet, who was a beacon of light and guidance for all of humanity. His message of love, compassion, and justice continues to resonate with us, inspiring us to be better individuals and to contribute positively to society.

As we honor the Prophet's life, let us reflect on his teachings and strive to emulate his noble qualities. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a paragon of compassion, kindness, and mercy. "The Birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W: A Divine Blessing"

The birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W is a momentous event in the history of mankind. Born on the 12th day of Rabi' al-Awwal, in the Year of the Elephant, in the city of Mecca, his arrival brought immense joy and blessings to the world.

Prophet Muhammad S.A.W was born into the noble Quraysh tribe, a descendant of Prophet Ibrahim A.S. and Prophet Ismail A.S. His birth was marked by extraordinary signs and miracles, foretelling his future role as the final messenger of Allah.

The Prophet's upbringing was entrusted to his loving grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, and later to his caring uncle, Abu Talib. Even in his early years, the young Muhammad S.A.W displayed remarkable qualities of wisdom, honesty, and integrity, earning him the title of "Al-Ameen" (The Trustworthy).

As he grew older, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W became known for his deep contemplation and spirituality. He would often retreat to the cave of Hira, seeking solace and divine guidance. It was during one such occasion, at the age of 40, that the angel Jibril descended upon him, revealing the first verses of the Quran and commissioning him as the last messenger of Allah.

Throughout his life, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W exemplified compassion, justice, and mercy. He preached the message of monotheism, calling people to worship the one true God, Allah, and to live a life of righteousness and goodness. His teachings encompassed all aspects of life, from personal conduct to social justice, emphasizing the importance of kindness, humility, and respect for all.

The birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W is a reminder of the profound impact he had on humanity. His teachings continue to guide and inspire millions of people around the world, fostering unity, peace, and harmony among diverse communities.
