Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of a new year. Thank You for preserving our lives and bringing us safely into 2026. We acknowledge that it is not by our power, but by Your grace and mercy.

Lord, as we step into this new year, we commit our lives, families, church, and all that concerns us into Your hands.
Go before us in every journey we will take. Order our steps and align us with Your perfect will.

In 2026, let Your light shine upon our paths.
Turn every confusion into clarity.
Turn every weakness into strength.
Turn every delay into divine acceleration.
Father, we declare that this year shall be a year of:
✨ Divine direction
✨ Open doors
✨ Spiritual growth
✨ Good health
✨ Peace and stability
✨ Fruitfulness and testimonies

Every plan of the enemy concerning our lives in this new year is cancelled by the blood of Jesus.
We receive grace to stand strong, walk in obedience, and finish well.

As we come to the end of this year, our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for His faithfulness, mercy, and unfailing love. Through every season, challenge, victory, and testimony, the Lord has remained our help and our strength.

We say THANK YOU to every member, partner, friend, and follower who stood with us in prayers, service, giving, and fellowship throughout the year. Your love, commitment, and support made the journey meaningful and impactful.

From the Intentional Praise, through Day 1 and Day 2, down to the Grand Finale Thanksgiving, God showed Himself mighty in our midst and He used YOU to make it a great success.

📖 Topic: Beware of Discontentment

📖 Text: 1 Timothy 6:6–8 | Hebrews 13:5

💡 Sermon Notes:
God desires that His children live with contentment. In this generation, discontentment has wrecked many lives, families, and even nations.

👉 What is Discontentment?
It is being unsatisfied, uncomfortable, or ungrateful with who you are or what God has given you.

⚠️ It shows up when…

Husbands/wives are not satisfied with their spouses.

Youth live above their means (hookups, fraud).

People allow greed, envy, or comparison to drive them.

🔥 Causes of Discontentment:
1. Unnecessary greed
2. Comparison
3. Intentional compromise
4. Envy
5. Covetousness
6. Competition
7. Impatience

⛔ Discontentment causes more harm than good. Don’t let it destroy you God loves you!

✨ Keys to Overcoming Discontentment:
1️⃣ Know who you are & what you have from God – James 1:17
2️⃣ Be satisfied with what you have – Phil. 4:19, Ps. 37:25
3️⃣ Avoid unnecessary comparison – Gal. 6:4
4️⃣ Practice self-control – Titus 2:11 12
5️⃣ Live with gratitude always – 1 Thess. 5:17, Ps. 16:8

Lord, help me to live a life of gratitude and contentment, resting in Your promises.
