Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. 🤲🏽

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Baba agba Ajikobi, a devoted father figure in Zumuratu L-Mumeenina and one of the outstanding students of Sheikh Yusuf Baba agba Lagbaji, who returned to his Lord this morning.

Baba agba Ajikobi’s life was one of quiet devotion to knowledge, to the deen, and to the community that came to know him as a father in every sense of the word. Those of us within Zumuratu L-Mumeenina were blessed to witness his commitment to Islamic learning and the values instilled in him by Sheikh Yusuf Baba agba Lagbaji, values he carried with grace throughout his life.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all who held him dear. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and grant his family and all of us the strength to bear this loss.

May his soul rest in perfect peace. Ameen.
