It is very clear that the appellation "I am the ALMIGHTY GOD" as seen in Genesis 17:1 and Exodus 6:3, followed a REVELATION of GOD or an APPEARANCE OF GOD as we may term it.
It then behooves us to take cognizance of the fact that an accurate understanding of GOD, a precise knowledge of His Nature or Attributes, and a touch of His Possibilities, comes largely by a REVELATION of Himself.
It is also clear that GOD revealed Himself to them by a name. We must know that just the way the Name of a person can be potent enough to put a seal on a matter and also grant access into certain provisions, the Revelation of GOD's NAME as The EL-SHADDAI opens us up to a world of experiencing the deliverables that the NAME brings.
GOD's name as "EL-SHADDAI" reveals His SUFFICIENCY in and of Himself, His ALMIGHTINESS, His MIGHTY ABILITY or COMPETENCE as shown forth in His Wondrous deeds that the Strength of man cannot catch up with neither can mental assent comprehend its vastness.
Indeed, His SUFFICIENCY and ALMIGHTINESS was put on display in His relationship with Abraham and Moses who happen to be the characters in the Bible texts above. Abraham could still father a child at old age and become the Father of Nations while Moses on the other hand saw the raw display of GOD's Mighty Power when he led the Israelites in a deliverance mission from the custody of the Egyptians.
Without doubt, one is prone to say that the saints in the Old Testament times had a Revelation of GOD but John 1:18, 1 John 4:12 and 1 Timothy 6:16 reveals that "no man" has ever seen GOD at anytime but the Son of GOD has declared (unfolded, unveiled, revealed) Him. Hence, it is as though they were only exposed to a form of GOD which one can describe as an epiphany.
However, the seeming Revelation of GOD they had was a pointer to a holistic Revelation of Himself that's to be captured in His Son- CHRIST JESUS, Colossians 1:15 presents Him as the IMAGE (visible representation) of the INVISIBLE GOD.
Affirming the truth that CHRIST JESUS accurately reveals GOD will also make us to see how JESUS displayed MIGHTY Power in all SUFFICIENCY while He was on earth as MAN, for He lived above all influences capable of dissuading every mortal. Hence, CHRIST JESUS operated as GOD would have in His ALMIGHTINESS in the midst of certain challenging situations while He was in the tabernacle of men.
For us also, it is vital to realize that the Sufficiency of GOD is resident in our very vessels. Philippians 4:13 and 2 Corinthians 3:5 pictures how we CAN DO all things THROUGH CHRIST that GIVES STRENGTH, as well as how we are NOT Sufficient in OURSELVES but our SUFFICIENCY IS OF GOD. Hence, we can easily see that the Sufficiency that seems to be displayed through the vessels of our being has a source from the One who lives inside of us- GOD in the person of His SPIRIT.
Hence, this Spirit-Inspired Meeting is an invitation for all to come into Living Experiences of the Possibilities in GOD. It is indeed going to set the course for an unfeigned Revelation of GOD and His name as THE EL-SHADDAI even as we individually and corporately come into an atmosphere of the superfluity of GOD's Grace and Manifest Power as the ALL-SUFFICIENT and ALMIGHTY GOD.
All men will behold GOD in CHRIST in a display of Power and we will see ourselves in CHRIST as a depot of His Mighty deeds, even as the SPIRIT of GOD finds Expression as the WORD comes forth.
