Dear LADY...

Working on yourself to become better is a MUST. Bishop Oyedepo said, "the largest room in the whole world is the room for IMPROVEMENT". It doesn't matter where you're coming from.

No, I am not talking about character!

There are ladies with good character but there is really nothing they can add to a man's life in terms of intellect.

All they have is good character and good cooking skills. Yes, you need those but you need MORE.

How do you intend to cope with the man of high intellect that you've been praying and waiting on God for?

No man wants to marry a dullard! Marriage is not all about good food and character only. As a lady, you must have something upstairs.

Some of you cannot speak or write good English as a result of your background but you're doing NOTHING to be better in that aspect!

Here's one truth. Aside beauty, another important thing that attracts you to a man is your level of INTELLIGENCE! You should know book o. 😅

What can you contribute when you find yourself in an intellectual conversations? Or you will just sit there and be listening, having absolutely nothing to say?

The four walls of school will not teach you some things but there is room for PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT!

Imagine Vice President Osinbajo got married to a lady with a very low IQ, would he have a helpmeet to help him sustain the position that God has taken him today?

You're not meant for the bedroom and kitchen only. There's so much you can add to your man's life especially for those of you who will be getting married to men of high intellect.

Now is the time to develop yourself. Your written and spoken English matters. Read wide. Work on your IQ. You can never tell where God is taking you, prepare yourself!

You are indeed a man that God has helped with courage, strength, wisdom, knowledge and most importantly God's grace has always been speaking for you. You have not come to this because you know how to do anything perfectly well but the help of God and His promises has been your anchor through your journey in life.....
I remember days when I think I can't achieve any great things in life, when I looked down on myself 😭 but when I met JESUS, a turnaround began in my journey of life. Hmmmmmmm... I have struggled with low self-esteem for so many years but I must say that Jesus helped me. Sincerely, all I see around me and all that I have become today was made possible because I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I don't know where I would be today if I had not encountered JESUS and gave my all to HIM.
Hmmmmmmmm...... Truly, OLUWADUNSIN 🙇‍♂️🙏. Words are not just enough to express how grateful I am to God today because becoming my parents FIRST GRADUATE was not an easy journey, since 2012 that I finished secondary school, now becoming a degree older in 2023. Hmmmmmm...... Let me reserve the full story till my CONVOCATION day. I know my life is a demonstration of God's glory and wonders. I know God has just started with me and He is not stopping now. I am confident that the wonders God is set to use my life to demonstrate is beyond what I can also comprehend myself. I am super grateful to God for the journey so far and I am confident that I will never be left alone in the journey I have ahead in life. Yes! God that has been holding my hands to journey with me will never drop it off and let go of my hands. I'm confident about that. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME 💜💜💜💜💃💃💃💃💃. I am wishing myself a long life and prosperity in good health and wealth with happiness, wisdom and joy in the Lord in Jesus Name 🙏.

WAITING VS WASTING

When God hasn't directed you yet, hasn't said anything, or no suitable life partner material coming or around you for no fault of yours, and you are single because of that and busy with your life, you're WAITING.

But once God has said something, directed you, via any means, and you delay necessary action for whatever reason, or you're idle (burying you talents and gifts) while waiting for a partner, you're WASTING.

Why do singles WASTE?

1) IGNORANCE

Don't let somebody's (your Mentors or Pastors) testimony of how God led THEM make you ignore how God has chosen to lead YOU.

Not every Christian will be directed via an audible voice. Ndi "God hasn't spoken", Know this and have Peace, and marry on time.

Some will be led by clear dreams/visions.

Others by a knowing,

God can lead and give you conviction through random, normal everyday circumstances and situations that bring you both together, even from a match making attempt by friends and family..

It doesn't have to be spectacular to be divine. Stop waiting for an angel to appear to you..

2) IDOL IN THE HEART

Some sisters will hear God's voice and say it is the Devil talking, all because they don't like the brother, tomorrow they'll say they are waiting on the Lord, waiting on which Lord? Lord Luggard abi.

As a Brother, Sister Chinyere with the big chest is the one you're eyeing, whereas Sis Bisi with the humble chest keeps entering your mind anytime you pray, you're now 37, you say you're still WAITING on God, uncle you're WAITING on Breast, continue WASTING.

3) IDLENESS

Waiting season shouldn't be an Idle season.

Use your waiting period to grow (spiritually, financially-hustling, in character, preparing for your future), because that growth you're not engaging in may be the reason you're still single.

4) UNSERIOUSNESS

You're waiting on God, and you're not praying. No prayer life, no fasting life, no prayer partner, no prayer meetings you attend.

Your prayer life is in coma, Bible study life is in the Intensive Care Unit, and you say you're waiting on God, how? If waiting on God doesn't make you become a vibrant Christian, what will?

5) PLAYING HARD TO GET..

God has spoken, you even know it, but you want to do small shakara for the brother, a whole 12 months is what you want to use to do shakara, congratulations, you've been transfered on loan from WAITING FC to WASTING FC. E go choke you.

6) FEAR

You like her, there's plenty compatibility, you have prayed and there's peace, but you don't know how to approach her, you're shy,

7 months later you are still beating around the bush like ungun known men, instead of shooting your shot, well done Sir, you're the chairman of WASTING POLITICAL PARTY (WPP). She'll soon invite you for her wedding.

If God or Circumstances beyond your control are not keeping you single, please don't keep yourself single. Play your Part

RELATIONSHIP: Conflict & Compatibility.

The best way to determine if the person you are in relationship with is the right partner for you is by observing how they handle issues in the relationship and respond when either of you makes a mistake.

Their actions during these times reveal whether your relationship has a future or not.

Do they avoid you, refuse to discuss the issue, or suggest taking a break ?

No one is perfect, and no two individuals are exactly the same.

Marriage involves two people with opposite traits, as opposites often attract. Being married to someone who is completely different from you is a significant challenge.

It requires a great deal of effort to understand and connect with them.

Conflict is a normal part of such relationships, indicating that they require work. If everything is always smooth, it may be a sign of underlying issues.

The fights that occur in a relationship serve a purpose. You may love someone deeply, but without understanding them, it becomes difficult to coexist. Such a relationship may eventually come to an end.

If you genuinely want to be with your partner, view each conflict as a test for your relationship. Successfully navigating these tests will strengthen your bond and deepen your love.

A wrong partner is someone who never learns from a relationship and believes they are always right. It is unwise to embark on a marital journey with such a partner, as you will eventually grow tired of them.

Instead of explaining their anger, a wrong partner expresses it in hurtful ways. They resort to insults, shouting, and making their partner feel their pain. This approach only leads to arguments, causing both partners to get hurt while trying to prove their point.

Winning the argument becomes more important to them than preserving the relationship, sacrificing their bond for the sake of their ego.

In a healthy relationship, winning an argument is not the goal. Lovers should recognize their shared humanity, acknowledging their imperfections, flaws, and weaknesses. Therefore, it is crucial not to commit to someone who constantly seeks out your faults as if it were a reward.

In conclusion, true blessings arise when couples overcome their issues and learn to cooperate, live in unity, and foster love and understanding rather than hatred and conflict.

Embrace a life of love, as it is truly fulfilling. Always ask yourself why you are getting married or why you got married.

You will marry well in Jesus name.

ILORIN CITY PRAYER WALK (2021)

Date: Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021

This is to notify the entire general Christian community that the 1st Ilorin City Prayer walk in 2021 will be holding on Saturday, January 9.

Time is 6am.

Our meeting point is Uni-Ilorin Bus termina not far from tipper garage round about.

I am in touch with key Christian leaders like C.A.N, PFN & Church Leaders' Fellowship & local levels.

We thank them all for their overwhelming support. We pray God will heal our land as we gather together to pray for our Nation.

I humbly implore and urge all Pastors to mobilize their members to be a part of this non-denominational prayer walk.

Thanks for your usual co-operation.
