AL-HIKMAH STUDENTSâ DAâWAH COMMUNITY (ASDAC)
OFFICIAL REPORT ON ASDACâS PARTICIPATION IN INTER-VARSITY QURâAN COMPETITIONS, SPEECH CONTEST, AND SISTERSâ SEMINAR
In the spirit of promoting Islamic excellence, intellectual development, and strengthening inter-varsity relationships, the leadership and delegates of Al-Hikmah Studentsâ Daâwah Community (ASDAC) actively participated in various Islamic programs organized by different institutions across the country.
Today, the leadership of ASDAC paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, alongside other principal officers of the University, including the Registrar, the Bursar, and the University Librarian, to officially present the report of ASDACâs participation in different Islamic activities held at various institutions.
The delegation was led by the Ameer of ASDAC, Saheed Abdulraheem of the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (400 Level), alongside the Ameerah of ASDAC, Abdulmumin Muhibah of the Department of Criminology and Sociology (400L), as well as other representatives of the Community.
*Inter-Varsity Qurâan Competition at the University of Ilorin*
On Thursday, 14th May 2026, the Muslim Studentsâ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), University of Ilorin Branch, organized an Inter-Varsity Qurâan Competition which featured participants from several higher institutions across the country.
Al-Hikmah University was proudly represented in different categories by outstanding students of the institution. The representatives and their respective categories were as follows:
Umar Masuâd of the Faculty of Computing and Engineering Technology participated in the 30 Hizb category.
Salahudeen Azeemah of the Faculty of Education participated in the 20 Hizb category.
At the conclusion of the competition:
Umar Masuâd emerged in 4th position in the 30 Hizb category.
Salahudeen Azeemah emerged in 2nd position in the 20 Hizb category.
*Inter-Varsity Qurâan Competition at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED)*
Subsequently, on Friday, 15th May 2026, another Inter-Varsity Qurâan Competition was organized by the Muslim Studentsâ Society of Nigeria at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).
At the conclusion of the competition:
Umar Masuâd emerged as the overall winner in the 20 Hizb category.
Salahudeen Azeemah emerged in 1st position in the 10 Hizb category.
On the same occasion, Khadijah Odukoya from the Faculty of Law also participated in a Speech Contest where she delivered an impressive presentation and was awarded a prize and certificate in recognition of her outstanding performance.
*Sistersâ Seminar at Lagos State University (LASU)*
Furthermore, on Saturday, 16th May 2026, the Ameerah of ASDAC, Abdulmumin Muhibah, attended a Sistersâ Seminar organized by the Muslim Studentsâ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Lagos State University Branch (LASU)
She was warmly received and highly appreciated for her presence at the seminar. The program was impactful, enlightening, and highly educative, providing participants with valuable knowledge, spiritual inspiration, and beneficial reminders that strengthened their understanding of Islamic values and contemporary responsibilities.

The Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University expressed joy and appreciation over the remarkable achievements recorded by the representatives of the University. He prayed that Almighty Allah continues to elevate their ranks, increase them in beneficial knowledge, and make them among the people of the Noble Qurâan.
He further commended the leadership and members of ASDAC for their commitment towards promoting the image, values, and reputation of Al-Hikmah University beyond the walls of the institution through academic, spiritual, and intellectual engagements.
May Allah continue to grant ASDAC greater success and unwavering steadfastness in the service of Islam and humanity.
