Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."Then Adam received from his Lord Words . And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful. (2:36,39)

We said: "Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve. But those who disbelieve and belie Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) such are the dwellers of the Fire, they shall abide therein forever. (2:38,39)

*قصص الأنبياء - الإمام ابن كثير*

*PROPHET: ADAM (عليه السلام)*

*PART: 1*

Let us in the beginning relate those Verses which Allah, the Most Exalted, has mentioned in the background of the beginning of human history, the history of Adam and Eve. The verses do not contain unnecessary details. However, they give us the glimpse of the early creation, and the *PURPOSE OF THE HUMAN LIFE!*

And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels:

*"Verily, I am going to create KHALIFA on the earth."* They said: "Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, - while we glorify You with praises and thanks (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners) and sanctify You." He (Allah) said: "I know that which you do not know." And He taught Adam all the names (of everything), then He showed them to the angels and said, "Tell Me the names of these things if you are truthful (in your claims)." (2:30,31)

They (angels) said: "Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise."He said: "O Adam! Inform them of their names," and when he had informed them of their names, He said: "Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?" (2:32,33)

And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves before Adam.". And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to Allah). And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers)." (2:34,35)

STORIES OF THE PROPHETS

INTRODUCTION:- _Allah says in the Noble Qur’an:_

We relate unto you (Muhammad ) the best of stories through Our Revelations unto you, of this Qur'an. And before this (i.e. before the coming of Divine Inspiration to you), you were among those who knew nothing about it (the Qur'an). (12:3)

And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad ); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story, and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah. So, when comes the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will then be lost. (40:78)

We narrate unto you (O Muhammad ) their story with truth… (18:13)

And all that We relate to you (O Muhammad ) of the news of the Messengers is in order that We may make strong and firm your heart thereby. And in this (chapter of the Qur'an) has come to you the truth, as well as an admonition and a reminder for the believers. (11:120)

Indeed in their stories, there is a lesson for men of understanding. It (the Qur'an) is not a forged statement but a confirmation of the Allah's existing Books [the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel) and other Scriptures of Allah] and a detailed explanation of everything and a guide and a Mercy for the people who believe. (12:111)
.. So relate the stories, perhaps they may reflect. (7:176)

Do you know the price paid by King Faisal of Saudi Arabia for Palestinians 🇵🇸 ?

King Faisal was one of the most important king of Saudi Arabia who sacrificed his life against Israel. He was born in 1906 in Riyadh. He was King of Saudi Arabia from 1964–1975.
The Saudi government annually awards the Nobel Peace Prize to King Faisal in his name. He was shot dead on March 25, 1975 by a Saudi conspirator in a US coup.

Why was he killed?
He was like the Sultan Abdul Hameed of Ottomans. He was adamant that Zionism should be wiped out of Palestinian soil.

King Faisal was an honest ruler. King Faisal had made a mimbar in his palace. He took it and put it in Baitul Muqaddas and thought he should do a Qutba. He asked the Pakistani army to rescue. He said he would give Saudi Arabia a one-year budget for this.

But the Pakistani rulers and military feared Israel and the West. So he said a prayer. Ya Allah! Don't make me die a coward! He was martyred as a result of that prayer.

How did it happen?
When he longed to reclaim Palestine, he was intimidated by the United States. They warned of an economic embargo. He did not flinch like the cowards who enjoy the pleasures of ruling today. He threatened the United States.

King Faisal boiled over when Quds was burned in 1969. When he “stopped” the supply of “petrol” to the West during the October war against Israel, the United States immediately sent then-Foreign Secretary Caspar Weinberger to Saudi Arabia for an explanation.

From the airport he took the US Secretary of State to a tent with no facilities arranged in the boiling desert. There was a plate of bread, another plate of date, milk in one jug and ZamZam water in another jug.

Pointing it to the Caspian, Berger said, “This is the way of life of our leader, the Prophet (pbuh). It was with this that he shook the world. We are ready to return to the life of that. He sent word that if possible the West should impose sanctions on us.

All King Faisal needed was to make Americans realize that we can live without any luxury, without mercy.

He was the king who memorized Al Quran. He died a heroic death without fear of Europe.

Weinberger left to say a word to the king before returning to the United States.
This is the magic word

"YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS"

The price King Faisal paid for Palestine was his priceless life!

It is these American threats that have enslaved Arab leaders to these days. There is no other heir like King Abdul Aziz. History repeats itself for people like King Faisal.❤❤❤

*SEERAH OF THE PROPHET ﷺ* *Part 4: FATHER OF PROPHET (ﷺ) WAS ALMOST SACRIFICED BEFORE HIS MARRAIGE*

★ Remember when our Prophet’s (ﷺ) grandfather Abdul Muttalib asked Allah for more sons and if Allah gave him more sons he would sacrifice one of them.

★ Years later he was blessed with 10 sons and he was a man who always kept his word.

▪ _He was ready to sacrifice Abdullah, the youngest (who was destined years later to be the father of our Beloved (ﷺ)_

▪ _Many people tried to stop him and pleaded with him to offer something else to Allah in return_

_*(Later he sacrificed 100 camels so Abdullah could live)*_

★ One of the very first people to try to stop Abdul Muttalib was Abdullah’s mother, the paternal grandmother of the Prophet who was called Fathima.

▪ Once the sacrifice of 100 camels was accepted Abdul Muttalib decided it was time for Abdullah to get married.

▪ He finally decided on "Aminah" who was the *daughter of Wahb*.

▪ Wahb had died some years previously and so "Aminah’s guardian was her uncle Wuhayb."

▪ "Wuhayb" himself had a daughter called "Halah" and so when Abdul Muttalib asked for "Aminah to be married to Abdullah" he also asked permission to marry Halah who later gave birth to "HUMZA"...The uncle of prophet ﷺ

▪ _Wuhayb agreed to and so arrangements were made for a double wedding to happen on the same day._

_*Amazing! So on the day Abdullah and Aminah married, Abdul Muttalib also married Halah.*_

*SEERAH OF THE PROPHET ﷺ* *Part 3: THE HIDDEN WELL OF ZAMZAM*

_Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of our Prophet ﷺ was a hugely respected figure and loved to be near the Kaaba so much so that on occasions he used to order a couch be delivered so he could sleep near the Kaaba._

▪ One such night whilst he was sleeping there a shadowy figure came to him in a vision and said: “Dig sweet clarity.” “What is sweet clarity?” he asked, but the speaker vanished.

▪ He nonetheless felt such happiness and peace of soul when he woke that he determined to spend the next night in the same place.

The visitant returned and said: “Dig beneficence.” But again his question received no answer.

▪ The third night he was told: “Dig the treasured hoard”, and yet again the speaker vanished at his questioning.

▪ But the *fourth night* the command was: “Dig Zamzam”; and this time when he said “What is Zamzam?” the speaker said:

_*“Dig her, thou shalt not regret, For she is thine inheritance From thy greatest ancestor. Dry she never will, nor fail to water all the pilgrim throng.”*_

It was through these divine instructions that Abdul Muttalib uncovered the Zamzam well, which had been hidden and buried for so many years.

*THE THREE FATIMA IN PROPHET'S ﷺ LIFE*

?? Did you know that the Abdullah’s ("father of the Prophet ﷺ) mother was called Fatimah? (i.e the grandmother of prophet ﷺ) and the wife of Abu Talib was also called Fatima and of course the most famous of them all...

Decades later our Prophet ﷺ called his own daughter Fatima who turned out to be one of the best women to ever walk this Earth

*SEERAH OF THE PROPHET ﷺ*

*Part 2: WELL OF ZAMZAM WAS HIDDEN*

After hajra settled in the valley of mecca with her son ismail, tribe of jurhum settled there. Ibrahim A.S. was married in the tribe of jurhum

The tribe of Jurhumites wickedly buried the beautiful well of Zamzam, which was given to mankind as a blessing.

They did this as an act of revenge as they were being driven out of Makkah for committing many injustices.

Before they left and in spite, they buried the Zamzam well, hid the treasures and covered it with sand.

*ANCESTORY OF PROPHET ﷺ*

▪ Approximately 400 years after Prophet Isa "a man of Quraysh" named *Qusayy"* married a *"daughter of Hulayl"* who was the "main leader" of the time.

▪ *Hulayl* preferred his own son-in-law *(Qusayy)* to his own sons and after Hulayl died it was decided that "Qusayy" would rule over Makkah and be the guardian of the Kaaba.

▪ *Qusayy* went on to have "4 sons" and his most capable son was *"Abdu Manaf"*

☆ His "favourite son" was "Abd ad Dar" who was not as capable as "Abdu Manaf"

☆ Shortly before Qusayy’s death he left Abd ad Dar in charge.

☆ _*Years later "Abdu’s Manaf’s" son "Hashim" was declared the foremost man of his time and most of the Quraysh tribe demanded all the rights be passed to Hashim*_

▪ "Hashim then married Salma", an influential woman of "Khazraj" but soon died and left behind 2 brothers called "Abdu Shams" and "Muttalib" and one half brother called "Nawfal."

▪ Soon "Muttalib" took over from Hashim when he died but then started thinking about who would succeed him.

☆ Hashim was now dead and Salma had a son called "Shaybah" who showed immense potential and had a real flair for leadership and a wonderful reputation.

▪ _*So it was "Shaybah" who then become the next leader, later his name was better known as "Abd al Muttalib" who was the grandfather of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ*_

*Part 1: Hajr e Aswad*

▪ The most Holy object in the Kaaba is a "celestial stone" which, it is said was brought by an Angel to Abraham from the nearby "hill Abu Qubays", where it had been preserved ever since it had reached the Earth.

▪ ‘It descended from Paradise "whiter than milk", but the "sins of the sons of Adam made it black."’ (Hadith) –

▪ This black stone they built into the "eastern corner of the Kaaba" and when the sanctuary was completed, God again spoke to Abraham and made him institute the rite of the Pilgrimage to "Becca, or Mecca" as it later came to be called.

▪ *As we know centuries later this very same stone was handled by our Prophet ﷺ and inserted into the Kaaba.*

Spending in the cause of Allah

18/01/2019

His phone rang in masjid by accident during prayers.

The imam gave a short sermon after prayer and made him a reference point to careless worshiper.

Other worshippers around him admonished him after prayers too for interrupting.

His wife kept on lecturing him for his carelessness too when he got home.

Other brothers shook their heads in disgust.

You could see the shame, embarrassment and humiliation on his face.

He never stepped foot in the masjid again.

That evening, he went to a bar.

He was still very nervous and was trembling from his shame.

He ordered a drink.

He spilled his drink on the table, the bottle falls by accident too and some of the contents splashed on some of the people around.

Those it splashed rushed towards him.

He closed his eyes expecting a bashing or torrent of words of abuse or physical assault.

Instead they were caring and wanted to know if he was hurt and had he any cuts from the broken bottle.

The waiter apologized to him and gave him a napkin to clean himself up.

The cleaner mopped the floor.

The female manager offered him a complimentary drink.

She also gave him a huge hug and a peck while saying, "Don't worry man. Who doesn't make mistakes?"

He has not stopped going to that bar since then.

to be learnt.

Sometimes our attitude as believers drives souls to Hell.

We think we know it all. We think it is very certain we are going to Jannah or heaven.

Alas, you can make a difference by how you treat people especially when they make mistakes.

* IF you cannot be a bridge to connect people, then do not be a wall to separate them.

* IF you cannot be a light to brighten people's good deeds then do not be the darkness covering their efforts.

* IF you cannot be water to help people's crops grow, then do not be the pest destroying their crops.

* IF you cannot be a vaccine to give life, then do not be a virus to terminate it.

* IF you cannot be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be an eraser to remove their sadness.

We can always be each others keepers, let us resolve to heal the world and make it a better place.
