YOU’RE LIKE A BREEZE: WILL YOU QUENCH OR REKINDLE in 2025!
People of God, it is with great joy and happiness in my heart that I congratulate us all for scaling through the year, 2024. We survived, sustained, and persevered by the Grace of our Maker, and here we are today. Glory be to Jesus.
As the year ends today and as we are taking a step into the new year, the Lord has sent His message for us to meditate on as we end this year and journey into a new one. God wants you to know that You are like a BREEZE and you should choose how you want to manifest in the new year.
Remember, the same breeze that can REKINDLE a fire can also PUT OUT a fire. When you want to put out the fire of a candle, you will have to blow air. When you also want to rekindle a dying fire, you will have to blow air, right? – We, as the handwork of God manifest in the same way.
The bible says in the book of Romans 6:16 “Do you not know that whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”
As God can use you to liberate lives and territories, so also the devil can use you to destroy and pollute lives. As God can use you to shine his light to the world, the devil can also use you to spread darkness all over. As God can use you for greater manifestation to show forth his glory even among the ungodly, so also the devil can use you the be a strong source of inspiration for ungodliness. As God can use you to draw men back to Him, so also the devil can use you to push souls out of the narrow way! – IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR CHOICE, “I call the heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” Deut. 30:19.
Look back… All through the year 2024, with the way you used your life, your acts, your desires, your activities, who had the greatest share in your acts this year? With those ungodly acts (lies, fornication, deceit, ungodly appearances, anger, malice, adultery, fight, drunkenness, witchcraft, and many more...), I believe you know who profited from it. DID CHRIST EVEN PROFIT AT ALL FROM YOUR LIFE THIS YEAR?
In fact, in this year, you even celebrated Christmas with ungodly/sinful merriments (clubbing, fornication, drunkenness, thefts/scams, etc.), reminding Christ of his suffering over you once again. BUT I TELL YOU dear chosen, it’s never over! IT’S NOT IN VAIN! You can change the narrative and become a catalyst for better change in the new year.
How do I know that I’ve surrendered myself to the devil all this while?
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1Peter 5:8
Surrendering to the devil doesn’t always mean we’ve made a conscious decision to follow evil. It is often a gradual process that can creep into our lives, disguising itself as harmless or even good. Now, how can you recognize that you’ve surrendered to the devil all this while?
• Compromise: When we start to compromise our values and principles, rationalizing that "it's not that bad" or "everyone else is doing it," we're opening the door to the devil's influence. The bible says, "As for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good." - 2 Thessalonians 3:13. The bible further teaches that whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction, and whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. ~ Galatians 6:8
• Disharmony and disconnection: If we find ourselves increasingly disconnected from God, our loved ones, or our own sense of purpose, it may be a sign that we've surrendered to the devil's agenda. The bible says, "They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness." - 2 Peter 2:15
• Pride and self-reliance: When we start to rely solely on our own strength and wisdom, neglecting prayer and God's guidance, we're essentially saying, "I've got this, God. I don't need You." The bible says, "The Lord will destroy the wise men's plans; he will bring the clever ones' thinking to nothing." - 1 Corinthians 1:19. It further teaches that we should trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding ~ Proverbs 3:5-6
• Fear and anxiety: If we're consumed by fear, anxiety, or a need for control, it may indicate that we've surrendered to the devil's tactics. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." - 2 Timothy 1:7. It is the commandment of God that we should cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for us.
• Lack of spiritual growth and conviction: If we're not experiencing spiritual growth, conviction, or a desire to follow God's will, it may be a sign that we've surrendered to the devil's influence. The bible says, "We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them." - 1 John 5:18. This is why God has charged us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Many times, the lord desired you to be close to his side this year, but you also know that you let him down. It is not over yet. You can still dedicate your life to him and submit to him today. His arms are always wide spread to receive your, following your genuine repentance.
By the grace of God, tomorrow, being the first day of the year, the Lord will communicate to us on what we can do when we recognize these signs in our lives as we journey with Him in the new year.
Stay tuned, and God bless you! HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE!!!
