On Saturday, 23rd August 2025, the Ile-Oluji Diocese Strategic Action Team (IDSAT) organized a Team Endowment Fundraising Program in support of the Diocese of Ile-Oluji. The event took place at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter, Ile-Oluji, and was graced by dignitaries, stakeholders, and members of the diocese community.

The initiative was aimed at strengthening the financial foundation of the Diocese to support its mission, programs, and long-term strategic objectives. The fundraising event recorded an impressive turnout and received overwhelming support from donors and well-wishers.

The IDSAT expresses heartfelt appreciation to all donors, sponsors, and participants whose generosity and commitment contributed to the success of this program. Your support is invaluable to the continued growth and sustainability of the Diocese of Ile-Oluji.

Together, we are building a stronger future for our church and community.

KEYNOTE ADDRESS DELIVERED BY PROFESSOR FELIX AKINSOLA AKINYOSOYE ON 23RD AUGUST 2025 ON THE OCCASION OF THE IDSAT ORGANIZED TERM ENDOWMENT LAUNCHING AT THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF ST. PETER ILE-OLUJI.

Good afternoon everyone. I on behalf of the Coordinator of Ile-Oluji Diocese Strategic Action Team (IDSAT), The Rt. Rev ‘d Amos Akinseye Fagbamiye who is unavoidably absent, heartily welcome all of you to the IDSAT organized Term Endowment Launching. The IDSAT, an initiative of The Rt. Rev’d Amos Akinseye Fagbamiye, the Pioneer and Retired Diocesan Bishop of erstwhile Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (ADOTT) in United States of America and Canada was put together on Monday April 14 2024 with the consent and knowledge of the Diocesan, the Bishop of the Diocese of Ile-Oluji, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, The Rt. Rev’d Abel Oluyemi Ajibodu.

Membership of the team comprises of the following:

The Rt. Rev’d Amos Akinseye Fagbamiye – Coordinator, Prof. Felix Akinsola Akinyosoye –Co-coordinator. Other members are Prof. Adeduro Adegeye, Prof. Amos Akinyemiju, Hon. Olumide Adefusi, Dr. Afolabi Adewakun, Chief Ebenezer Akinbobola, Chief (Mrs) Florence Fola Akinyosoye, Chief (Mrs) Comfort Akinniranye, Mr. Dickson Akintomide, Bro. Dayo Olorunkiyesi, Mrs Olufunmilola Ajidahun, Evang. Mrs Evelyn Adesoji, Ven. Philip Olasogba and Mr. Femi Kayode – Secretary. Our mission is to initiate plans and make strategic actions for the sustainability and development of the Diocese of Ile-Oluji becoming a leading Diocese in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.

The nature of our team is to be strategic in our operations but work silently and behind the scenes but evidently proactive in the pursuits of our mission and vision. The team is structured into two groups viz:

1. Motivation group: This group motivates and mobilizes key components of our Diocese for active participation in mission, development and evangelism. For example in the recent past, seminars were conducted for the priests and their wives in December 2024 and the Youths in April 2025. Resource persons were invited on both occasions to address specific but relevant themes expected to move our Diocese forward.
2. Endowment/Property/Investment group: This group is in charge of the endowment launching we are witnessing today. We are to raise a Term-Endowment fund to the tune of 1.5 billion naira within a period of five years. Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here today to kick-start this process to the glory of God and for the benefit of our Diocese. Bishop Missionary Partners had been appointed and compilation of the list of Launchers, donors, individual pledges or contributions annually for five years has commenced.


Letters had been written to our guests of honour, Chief Launchers and other Launchers as a clarion call to them to formally launch generously the Term Endowment Fund today. Others are expected to pledge and make an annual contribution starting from 2025 through 2029 by simply completing a form and submitting it to us for compilation.

There are five categories of individual pledges/contribution every year for five years viz:

1. Diamond: one million naira (N1M and above)/ year for 5 years equals N5 million
2. Platinum: seven hundred and fifty thousand naira (N750,000)/ year for 5 years equals N3,750,000
3. Gold: Five hundred thousand naira (N500,000)/ year for 5 years equals N2,500,000
4. Silver: Two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000)/ year for 5 years equals N1,250,000
5. Bronze: One hundred thousand naira (N100,000)/ year for 5years equals N500,000
*Please note that an annual pledge/contribution below the Bronze (N100,000) from individuals would also be accepted and appreciated.



The Fund would be managed by a special Board, Term Endowment Fund Board. This Board comprising of eminent personalities in the Diocese of Ile-Oluji will be inaugurated today by God`s grace. The names of every individual who makes contribution to the Term Endowment Fund would be engraved accordingly in the appropriate category in the Endowment Wall planned for the gallery of the cathedral of St. Peter for posterity and future generations. Which category above would you like to belong? Please ensure your name is not left out!!



Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen, according to Nehemiah 2:18.. “Let us rise up and build and strengthen our hands for this good work”. It is our prayer that God in his infinite mercy will continue to grant us the wherewithal to do this in Jesus mighty name.

LAUNCH OF TERM ENDOWMENT FUND

Dear Beloved in Christ,

Today marks a significant moment in the history of our Diocese as we officially launch the Term Endowment Fund, an initiative under the Ile-Oluji Diocese Strategic Action Team (IDSAT). This Fund has been established to provide sustainable financial support for evangelism, mission, and infrastructural development within our Diocese.

Your unwavering generosity and commitment since the inception of this Diocese have been a source of great encouragement. For this, we express our profound gratitude. May the Lord reward your kindness abundantly, multiply His blessings upon you, and grant peace to you and your household in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

A Scriptural Call to Kingdom Partnership

The Holy Bible gives us clear examples of God’s people contributing to His work:
• Exodus 25:1-7: Moses invited the Israelites to bring offerings for the construction of the Tabernacle.
• 1 Chronicles 29:1-9: King David called on the Israelites to support the building of the Temple.
• 2 Corinthians 9:1-15: St. Paul encouraged the Corinthian Church to give generously for the saints in Jerusalem.

Just as our forebears gave willingly to advance God’s work, we now invite you to join us in this noble cause.

REPORT OF TERM ENDOWMENT FUND LAUNCHING.

BISHOP'S ADDRESS
Beloved Children of God, distinguished guests, esteemed clergy and clergy wives, Ile-Oluji Diocese Strategic Action Team (IDSAT) members, Church members from all our Churches in the Diocese of Ile-Oluji, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).
It is my honour to welcome you all to this special occasion as we lunch the Diocese of Ile-Oluji Term Endowment Fund.

We are grateful for your presence and support. We told the Synod last year that in April 2024, a group of people under the leading of God's Spirit had mobilized themselves with the mission/ vision to develop and take strategic action for sustainability and making the Diocese of Ile-Oluji becoming a leading Diocese in the Church of Nigeria in no distance future.

The IDSAT is an initiative/ vision of our revered father, The Rt Rev'd Amos Akinseye Fagbamiye, the Pioneer and retired Diocesan Bishop of erstwhile Anglican Diocese of the Trinity (in United States of America and Canada); his lordship is the Coordinator of the Team.
The Synod had expressed her readiness in praying for members of that team and in collaborating with them to achieve the goals of their vision. We have appointed some eminent persons home and abroad to network with the IDSAT team in realizing the vision of the body. Those so appointed are nominees of the Bishop, and they will serve as Bishop's Missionary partners.

May God the owner of His Church grant us His supernatural enablement, in Jesus' name.
We gather today to address a critical need in our Diocese: spreading the Gospel and establishing thriving Churches. Some existing Churches are struggling with resources and infrastructure. Our vision includes establishing Churches in rural areas equipped to serve their communities, empower pastors and members to spread the Gospel and disciple others.

To our Chairman The Ven. Davidson O. Okunfulure, our Guests of Honour Baba Oba Oladele Fajemirokun, and Engr. Samuel A. Adegboyega ,our Chief Launchers Chief Aro Akinsola Akinfemiwa OON, Otunba Tom Oluwarotimi Daramola, and all eminent personalities/ Launchers, "I thank my God every time I remember you.

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" (Phil 1:3-6).
We appreciate your kindness and support for the Church in evangelism, mission and physical development before and since the inauguration of this Diocese. You have been a tremendous source of encouragement.
May the good Lord reward you immensely and abundantly, may He multiply His divine benediction upon you and all yours in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Bible gives us some examples of invitations to support God's work financially and in some other ways.
Moses invited the Israelites to contribute materials for the construction of the Tabernacle, a place of worship. (Ex 25:1-7) King David invited the Israelites to contribute to the construction of the Temple in Jerusalem (1 Chron 29:1-9)-
St. Paul the Apostle encouraged the Corinthian Church to contribute to a collection for the poor in the Jerusalem Church. (2Cor 9:1-15)
Your contributions will help empower our Diocese to fulfill its vision;

To populate Heaven, by God's grace with the people of Ile-Oluji kingdom and the rest of Nigeria through effective Evangelism and Mission.
Mission;
1. To proclaim Vigorously God's holy Word without counting the cost
To ensure that every member is equipped to stand on his/ her feet spiritually and materially
To promote Anglicanism in all our churches, Schools and territory
To enhance selflessness and the Spirit of true love and generosity regardless of ethnic origin
To grow the youth for present and future church (and Society) leadership.

To our members and friends, our sons and daughters home and abroad, your generosity and participation are critical to the success of this initiative. Together, let us work towards building a sustainable future for our Diocese enabling us to serve our community and spread the Gospel more effectively.

Thank you for being part of this momentous occasion. Let us unite in prayer and giving trust in God's provision and promise.

Your financial support will contribute to evangelism efforts, Church planting and infrastructure development.

Together we can bring transformation to the Church and our community in a way that will impact generations to come.
