Gossip is a TOPIC talked about in the Bible and there are many Bible Verses that are helpful in understanding Gossip.
Gossip hurts others and it is something Christians need to avoid.

Bible Verses About Gossip

Proverbs 16:28 - A perverse man spreads strife, And a slanderer separates intimate friends.

James 4:11 - Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother, or judges his brother, speaks against the law, and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge of it.

Philippians 4:8 - Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.

Titus 3:2-Be gentle to malign no one, to be uncontentious, gentle, showing every consideration for all men.

You Need A Father: Joshua was a mighty man, full of wisdom because Moses fathered him (Deut 34:9), this suggests that Joshua served Moses and looked up to him for direction in life and ministry. Elisha became a great Prophet because he followed Elijah.
