Rooted And Built Up

Scripture
*“Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”*
Colossians 2:7

*Morning Prayer*
Father, root me in You and build me up. When the wind blows, keep me standing. When I am waiting, keep me thankful. Let my faith grow strong this week, and let thanksgiving fill my mouth as I watch You build my life, in Jesus' name!

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY

Thus says the Lord;
I haven’t called you to be successful, I’ve called you to be obedient. Leave the success to Me, why? Because that is a foregone conclusion, unlike your obedience. Listen – hear My voice, stand your post, and leave the results to Me. If you hold yourself accountable for the results, then you will become discouraged when things don’t work out. Likewise, if you see success as proceeding from your efforts, you will fall into presumption. The only requirement I place on you is simple obedient response to the prompting of My Spirit. This will make obedience and follow through an easy yoke and a burden light when you quit looking at yourself and look to Me. You will have an opportunity today to maintain your humility and simplicity. I have given you gifts, and those gifts will bring you to promotion, and in exercising your gift, you will know My glory and My splendor.

Shalom!

Planted By The Rivers

Scripture
*“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither.”*
Psalm 1:3

*Morning Prayer*
Lord, plant me by Your rivers. Let my roots go down deep into Your Word, and let my leaf stay green. I ask You for fruit in its season, in my life, in the ones I love, and in the work of my hands. Keep me planted close to You this month, in the name of Jesus!
