SCRIPTURE REFLECTION

The Unwavering Faith
2kings 4:1-37 Job 22:29

The Unwavering Faith is not based on ideas, it is not a 'feel good', it is not a go with the flow, It is practical. The Shunamite woman in the bible text was just living her life and wasn't really digging hard on having a son but at the words of Elisha, she had a son.

What she did when the son died was a practical example of what it means to have unwavering faith. All she said was it is well. But her son had just died, but it is well she said.

Today, you reading this... Situations of life may have cost you tears, threaten to make you bow, lose hope ... It could be debt, it could be health issues or even financial lack; what are you saying concerning it? What is your faith concerning that situation?

Are you seeing things the way God sees it for you? Or are you allowing the situation to project fear?

There are two ways to connect with God's promise for us and keep our hope alive

1. Based on what he had said.
2. Based on who he is.

What has God said concerning you in the scripture? Search it out. What is the nature of God based on who he is? God cannot lie. That means, everything he has said concerning you will surely come to pass, then you keep your faith alive and put it to use. Trusting God for a baby, buy that baby dress. Trusting him for a spouse, start making your wedding plans.

Remember, no matter how hard the situation is, when men say there is a casting down, we will say there is a lifting up. Hallelujah!!!

We Give Praise To God in His Presence.

Praising God births spiritual renewal.
Praising God removes our focus from the troubles we are facing to His power.
Praising God invites His active intervention in our lives.
Praising God gives us victory in any battle. 2nd chro 20:22.

Give praise always.

SCRIPTURE REFLECTION

As children of God, we are supposed to be a manifestation of God's faithfulness. Manifesting his faithfulness is being in Heaven's glory. Hallelujah.

A place where you don't lack anything is a place of " heaven's glory".

In order to enjoy heaven's glory, there are certain things you must do that will manifest God's faithfulness in your life.

1. Desire to hear from God and always study the word to know the mind of God. As you hear the word of God, you must do well by being deliberate to do the right thing at the right time just as you have learnt.

2. You must worship - Acknowledge God in all you do and show respect for his name. Let all you do be connected to bringing about his glory on the earth. Psalm 29:2

3. Operate in God's will instead of your own will - Your ability to operate in his own will (God's will) is what gives you opportunity to stand a chance of enjoying God's faithfulness.

4. Obedience to God - Your desire to be in God's will must definitely leads to obeying him. In Genesis 12:1, God told Abraham to leave his father's house to a place he will show him. Abraham followed God's instructions without having an idea of what the final destination is. Total obedience will bring about the manifestation of God's faithfulness.

Prayer: May the Lord shower your life with the manifestation of his faithfulness and may your life be the "place of heaven's glory". May you see the hand of God in all that concerns you. Amen!!
