Your Temptation Is Still Common!
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV)

No one on Earth could be tempted above the temptations that Jesus Christ went through. Jesus Christ went through the greatest temptations that could ever be manufactured by the devil and overcame them all. Thus He is able to help us overcome any kind of temptation. Dear beloved, are you being tempted? Temptation is an invitation to sin against God. If you do not give in to temptation, you cannot sin against God. It is good to know that all the temptations that we will ever go through on this earth are common; therefore, God expects us to overcome all of them just as Jesus Christ did. God is indeed faithful, as depicted by the opening scripture, and He always makes a way for us to escape any form of temptation or to overcome it. Beloved, all the temptations we will ever go through can be categorized into these three: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and pride of life (1 John 2:16). Depend on the Word of God like Jesus Christ did, and you will overcome all forms of temptation because we are being tempted every day (Matthew 4:4–10). Every time you overcome, you are promoted, but when you fail, you are given the opportunity to receive grace to overcome the next time (Luke 4:13). Be wise and alert and depend on the Word of God, and you will always win over temptation. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your timely Word. I arm myself with your Word today and always in order to be alert and wise and to discern your way of escape to overcome all the temptations that will come my way. Please give me more grace to rise above every form of temptation, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Do You Know Your Enemy’s Mission and Strategies?
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 (KJV)

Knowing your enemy’s strategies makes it easy to defeat him. It is now clear that as children of God, we will always have enemies because our archenemy, the devil, and his demons are still in this world. Our Lord and Savior recognizes this truth, so He gave us the mission of our archenemy, the devil. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He has several strategies to achieve his mission, some of which are using false information, using false prophets or preachers, deception, philosophies, sin, politics, etc. He even twists the Word of God to achieve his mission (Matthew 4:6). Dear beloved, you now know your enemy’s mission and strategies, so arm yourself to overcome them. Arm yourself with prayer, wisdom, the Word of God, and being sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and you will defeat him continually (Matthew 4:4). Always confirm all information with the Holy Scriptures and the Spirit of God before you act on it. Remember that your enemies are always working to steal your vision, dreams, ideas, business, health, etc.; to kill or stop them; and to destroy them. They have even succeeded by deceiving some people to commit su***de, so be on your guard and you will always win against him. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!

Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, thank you for your insightful word about my enemies. Please lead me to use all the resources and weapons you have made available to me to discern and win against my enemies, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
