Hidden in Him

"For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock."
(Psalm 27:5, NIV)

Today's Word
What an amazing promise we have that when we seek God and serve Him with our whole hearts, He will hide us in His shelter. That means you can be so connected to God that you are invisible to the enemy! You are hidden in Him! No matter what is happening around you, you can have strength, confidence and rest. Challenges may come your way, but you won’t be worried about them. You know that, ultimately, things are going to work out for your good. You know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

People may be talking, trying to make you look bad, but you don’t even give it a second thought. You know that your future is too bright to be distracted. You know they don’t control your destiny. You just keep on being your best, walking in integrity, meditating on the Word and worshiping throughout the day so you can stay hidden in Him!

A Prayer for Today
Father, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I surrender every area of my life to You. Mold me into Your image and keep me hidden in You. I bless You and praise You today and always in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Whatever You Do Will Prosper

"That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers."
Psalm 1:3, NIV

TODAY'S WORD:
God’s plan is for you to prosper and be successful in every area of your life. Some people might say, “I don’t see how you can say that with the economy like it is. All the experts are saying it’s going to get worse before it gets better.” That may be true in general, but it doesn’t have to be true for believers in Jesus. We are connected to a supply line that will never run dry. Don’t be talked in to having a bad year. The economy is not your source. God is your source, and He wants to bless you beyond your normal income. He likes to do unusual things. He can bless you with an explosive blessing! That means, all of the sudden, unexpectedly, something happens that takes you to a new level. Old limitations are broken, and suddenly, you find yourself further than you ever dreamed!

The key is found in Psalm 1:1-2. We have to separate ourselves from the system of the world and set our heart and mind on the Word of God. When you meditate on His promises and follow His commands, you will experience these explosive blessings. When you put Him first, you will be strong and stable, and whatever you do will prosper!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for Your Word which lights my path and directs my heart. I submit every area to You and put You first always. Teach me Your ways so I can walk with You and experience every blessing You have in store for me in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Who is your Enemy?

"This went on years after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat" (1 Sam 1:7)

TODAY’S WORD
In the case of Hannah, Barrenness was her enemy, she wept which was beyond being sad..
Perhaps as human she was devastated as a result of her condition she had bitterness in soul..she brought it all to the house of God and prayed like never before as she wept sore..

Who is your Enemy? Some of us see our brothers, sisters, mother, father or even a family member or friend as an Enemy..
But an Enemy are those things troubling you, which gives you sleepless night eg Sickness, Disappointment, Life's challenges, Financial constraint, Frustration, Bad Leadership, Hardship, Confusion etc.

As a Christian how do you face your enemy?
Do you go with fear or faith. Do you have trust in God or do you belittle the power of God before men? Instead of doubt why not trust God on His word, Hannah was steadfast and patience, even when the Priest Eli accused her of being drunk, she remained humbled even in distress..

Sometimes God can be silent over our problems, we should understand that God does not always answer our prayers in the way we want. Often we ask God why, but You may never know the thought God has for you..
God gave Hannah a son at the appointed.
God will give you Victory in whatever difficulty you may be passing through.

A Prayer for Today
Father, right now I invite You to dwell in my thoughts, to build up my faith in you. Help me to be a true reflection of Your Power and authority in everything I do in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WORD FOR TODAY:
Judgement, Condemnation, or Forgiveness is our choice to make, but it's also used as basis in measuring our own Righteousness by God..
The story of the Adulterous woman in the Bible that was brought before Jesus, He kept mute after hearing her Sin, while the people all were with stone in their hands to stone to death, He said "Let anyone amongst you without sin be the first to cast to the stone on her and they left quietly one after another..

What do we learn from this story, that none is without sin, "the Bible says "For all have Sin and come short of the Glory of God..If God does not throw our Sin on the Street but instead seek we repent, Why then do men Judge and Condemn themselves here in earth?
When a person is in Sin, they don't need you turning back on them, they don't need you condemning or Judging them.. we all have moments when we know we have messed up before God..
But the remain we should rejoice of others, the Bible says let any man who feels he stand, stand firm lest he fall..
In all let us learn to live in Peace with all Men..

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
May the Lord help us to look at Christ as the author and the finisher of our faith,to help us also check and examine ourself while waiting for the Big Judgement day ijn Amen

HABITS THAT KEEPS YOU DOWN AS A CHILD OF GOD.

"A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, so shall your poverty come like a thief, and your want as an armed man"
(Prob.6:10-11)

WORD FOR TODAY:
As children of God, we are heirs to a kingdom of abundance. Yet we struggle financially, not because of lack of prayer nor God withholding His blessings but we have cultivated habits that attracts spirit of poverty. Poverty is not lack of money but lack of wisdom, discipline and stewardship.
As Christians, we fast, sow, quote scriptures about abundance but rarely do we pause, and ask ourselves the big question "Lord are.there habits in my life keeping me down"? Most of us made a New year resolution for financial Breakthrough. Don't forget that God does not promote what we refuse to manage.

Here are some habits we carry unknowingly may be dragging us backwards..
1. Confusing faith with financial Neglect, spirit of entlementt...Some of us put our hands in the pocket believing God for a miracle, they have no track of income, budget or plan.
2. Emotional spending, lack of self control, living to impress others, trying to keep up with friends, influencer, family etc many Christians are financially stuck on this.. Unnecessary spending creates debts, it weighs you down lean to live for obedience not approval.
3. Dishonesty, get rich quick syndrome: These and more has pull many down, wealth gain through dishonesty and vanity dwindles as you lack foundation for godly character.
Kindness to the poor, kingdom investment are described as lending to the Lord, He promises to repay.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Heavenly Father, thank you for your word today, I seek for your direction in my finances, inorder to evict the spirit of poverty completely out of my life ijn Amen 🙏

Total Faith In God

But without Faith, it's is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (1pet 11:6 KJV)

WORD FOR TODAY:
Having faith in God is having absolute trust in God. Faith is hoping on something not seen, He knows what's best for us and if we can truly embrace what he has planned for us, it shows we have fully trust in him.
To trust in God we need to put on the whole armor of faith, which includes love and hope for our salvation.
Having Faith in God does not means you won't encounter trials and temptations infact these things happens to test and strengthen our faith in God..
But these is an assurance for those who have total Faith in God. Matt 21:22 says whatever ye ask, ye shall receive.
The Bible says if we have Faith as little as the grain of a mustard seed that we can move mountains.

Nevertheless, despite all the trial and tribulations faced in the world today, let's always look unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith Heb 12:2.
Let stay away from sin, Malice, deceit, partiality, hypocrisy, envy, slandering hatred etc and instead draw close to God and humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God casting all our care upon Him.

Prayer for today:
Father Lord pls continue to strengthen our Faith in you and make us stand firm in other to merit the crown of eternal life which you have promised all those who will serve you to the end ijn Amen 🙏
